  1. Apple TV is the way to go for 4k HDR content since it has both HDR10 and Dolby Vision support. There’s a deal on it with DirectTV Now: pay for 3 months (about $100) and you get a free AppleTV 4k ($150-180 normally), and you can cancel the DTVN thing immediately so you don’t get autobilled after three months. Also, moviesanywhere includes iTunes which generally has the highest quality stream for movies.
  2. “Bring the Crunch”, released last night. It’s horror-themed, seems to be spoofing movies like Friday the 13th. Can’t wait to play it this weekend!
  3. I thought the argument was about including them at all - of course there should be co-pays, no problem with that.
  4. How much does removing dental/vision save taxpayers? How much would it cost an individual to seek out dental/vision on their own?
  5. Oh wow, 12 issues of game informer?!? Think of all that money you'll save on toilet paper!
  6. Bingo. I mean: https://www.health.harvard.edu/diseases-and-conditions/gum-disease-and-the-connection-to-heart-disease The actor who played "Lorne" (the green singing demon guy) on the show Angel (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) infamously died due to complications from a tooth infection which wasn't treated in time that destroyed his heart. Like, purely cosmetic and unnecessary nonsense shouldn't be covered (ie: teeth whitening) unless there's a medical need/reason.
  7. What happens when an untreated tooth infection caused by not being able to afford a root canal or having impacted wisdom teeth removed damages someone's heart? Does the "actual health care" just treat the symptoms of the damaged heart or does it also take care of the tooth? Dental and vision should absolutely be covered under "actual health care", it's odd to assert that it shouldn't be. #smilesmatter
  8. I've been researching and debating on getting one for a while. The one thing is to definitely get a case that can hold both a heatsink and a fan, especially if you're planning on running N64/PSX games as it will overheat otherwise.
  9. I thought that there was a rumor they were planning on returning to the US market? Or maybe just Canada?
  10. Sounds like if this supported Dolby Vision and Atmos it would be the new OLED to buy, even over LG OLEDs.
  11. It may or may not be gold, but it’ll be platinumed!
  12. TTG Movie spoiler: Now bring back Justice League/Justice League Unlimited and I might orgasm
  13. Sure! It means there won’t be a last minute delay!
  14. I can confirm that this movie is terrible. I can also confirm, that while the HDR is very good, the Dolby Vision demo in the Dolby Experience app for this movie has definitely been “enhanced” by Dolby as the actual movie isn’t as “OMG” looking.
  15. I wanted to do this last season as it was the first season that I watched live (watched S1-6 about a month or two prior to S7 premiering) but it’s impossible unless you really don’t mind everything being spoiled.
