  1. I bet they really want Shane O Mac considering he’s the best in the world
  2. PS3 was supposedly awful to code for, BUT, the first/second party devs that knew how to did tend to offer better visuals than what was on the 360, IMO.
  3. They were having the same issue as the guy in the post I linked. The issue was fixed and was likely coming from the Xbox.
  4. 800-1000 is fine for something that’s 12” away from your face. My PG27UQ has nearly blinded me with HDR effects on several occasions.
  5. If you’re referencing this the guy fixed the issue. HDR is fully compatible with VRR and low-latency gaming mode.
  6. 800 nits is really the minimum you’d want for HDR, keep that in mind while looking. 1000 is really what you want, though. All but the 2 HDR monitors that @AbsolutSurgen linked to, as far as I’m aware, are in the 400 range with a few at 600. However, go on eBay and you can find both for several hundred cheaper brand new.
  7. I never had performance issues. The game does look assy without HDR, don’t know if that’s been changed as I only played without once by accident
  8. So, you never buy any game at/near release and wait for a price-drop/sale on all games? JFC.
  9. I haven't played the console versions, and I don't play online haha All I can say is that the PC version looks and runs great IMO
  10. The current (the one in the Switch) is the Tegra X and it’s only a bit less powerful than the launch Xbone iirc (when running at full-boar). The next Tegra will likely be based on the current RTX cards and be dubbed the “Tegra RTX”, no clue on when that actually comes out... but, Nintendo could simply play with the current design and up the clock speeds to create a “Switch Pro”. Using the next iteration of Tegra for an updated Switch would be an odd choice, IMO, as that would be better used on a new console altogether considering the huge performance jumps between each Tegra iteration - I’d expect the next Tegra generation to be meeting or exceeding PS4 Pro (possibly XboneX) performance.
  11. I’d rather just wait for actual HDMI 2.1 ports on the RTX cards considering I have a 2080 Ti now
  12. Both I like to play from my couch wherever possible It’s exactly the same as it is on monitors. XboneX already supports it on 2.1 TVs.
  13. I hope not. Tegra 2 came out in 2011 (Switch is using the fifth iteration of Tegra)
  14. Bought 2 years of Gold from CDKeys for $101.78 and a 1 month trial of regular Game Pass for $2.49, did the Game Pass Ultimate $1 sign-up and now I’m good until 5/1/2022 ... but there’s nothing on there I want to play yet
  15. Yea, that was a really weird metric to base pricing on. By this logic The Witcher 3 should have launched at $200 and still sell for that much
  16. What TV uses DP? I use DP for my monitor I’ll be getting an HDMI 2.1 TV in the next 18 months, VRR is ridiculously important IMO.
  17. No, you can buy them on Windows Store or Steam. Game Pass just gives you access to all MS first party games and a ton of 3rd party games for a yearly or monthly subscription instead of needing to buy them individually.
  18. Are there any Gold or Xbone Game Pass deals around? I have about 8 months left with Gold so I figured I'd buy 2 years of Gold + 3-6 months of GP before switching it to the $1 Ultimate bundle and having it all combine into 3 years of GP Ultimate.
  19. Is the DLC worth it or is it just characters/skins/weapons?
