  1. The corporate world is all about diluting responsibility/liability, all the way down to having someone else fire people so you don’t need to have that awkward moment. It’s why these guys break into sweat when they get called on to testify in front of congress out of the blue. Bunch of spineless rats.
  2. Be jealous of me, I got a jury duty summons and then just didn’t go. And nothing happened lmao
  3. It’s almost as if we’ve been operating under the “illusion of security” this whole time.
  4. When I worked construction in Manhattan I was dumbfounded how easy it was to get into sensitive areas.
  5. My heart just skipped a beat on that one. Right-to-work laws have decimated middle-class income gains for a decade straight.
  6. Hahahahaha what the fuck lmao we really are doomed aren’t we these fuckers all need to be primaried HARD
  7. I had another kid this year. Should probably slow down.
  8. That is certainly a factor, mitigated by the strong local employment options. Lose your jobs as a salaryman because you kept coming to work drunk? Get a job around the corner putting bikes together. There are no shortage of job options that are physically close, and you’ll never have to cross 200 feet of pavement and culverts and lawn and parking lot to reach it if you can’t afford a car.
  9. Lol there is a movement in this country back to traditional development. App tech actually makes urban environments more efficient and synergistic.
  10. Mixing commercial and residential has worked perfectly for thousands of years dude. Look at any successful city outside of North America. Why do you think Japan has the lowest unemployment rate in the world?
  11. Zoning is 100% the culprit when it comes to housing prices. I’d throw transit in there, but that all depends on zoning too.
