I'm not usually one to lose my shit when something is spoiled for me (i.e. I'm not that bothered by them either) but this surprises me a bit.
It seems to me that a lot of emotional moments lose at least some of their punch if you see it coming.

I hate that kind of stuff, because you never know if they're being sincere and actually had a good time or they just said that they did because they think it's the right thing to say.

There is certainly something appealing about the minimalist lifestyle, IMO. No excess clutter, everything is simpler and has its purpose.
