Middle names are common, they are written differently. It's: Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name. In that order and your father's name is your last name. Which is really confusing to Americans because they would therefore make your mother's name the last name. So the parents are Fernando Hernández Zenaida Gómez The kid is: Eduardo Hernández Gómez Very old school the wife's name would change to Zenaida Gomez de Hernández. I remember a friend from high school got married and her husband wanted her to change her name because his family was "traditionalist" I was like what Tradition? American tradition because Mexicans don't do that. (They were Mexican)

I mean Marvel is clearly using these to setup situations they don't want to have to explain in the movie runtimes. I think it's awesome, especially as someone who grew up reading comics- the experience is the same. Hawkeye season 2 might not be about Clint at all, Loki 2 might be about Sylvie becoming some big bad that affects the main timeline.
