  1. To me, the 2080 and 2080Ti are the best cards you can buy. But, at their current prices, I can't justify the purchase with the games I expect to play in the near term. I'm waiting for the 2180Ti. If I had a 970, or lower, I probably would make a different decision. On a side note, I don't know what a "4k30" console is -- it's an arbitrary adjective that is being made up in this thread. Arguing over what a made-up term should mean will never go well.
  2. Week 3 Feature Game Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- $1,000 QUESTIONS 1) Tampa TD 2) Over 3) Roethlisberger 4) Raiders 5) Green Bay, Cincinnati , Denver 6) Janikowski 7) Rams 8) Gurley / Brown
  3. That is partially true for the PS3 -- later fat models used a combination of hardware and software for BC. While the PS2 slim had issues with some games for BC, all versions of PS2 used hardware for BC.
  4. I don't think we will see 4k gaming on mainstream cards/consoles in 2020.
  5. I have no idea why people think that NES games hold up better than MGS.
  6. I still don't understand the desire to buy small "retro" consoles. I can't imagine playing RR4 without the Jogcon -- for me, it was integral to the experience. But, if Jumping Flash made it onto this machine -- I'm wondering how many great games aren't going to make it...
  7. FH3 was so good -- and this demo makes FH4 look even better. Seasons should add more variety to the driving -- and I'm looking forward to the new side content that they've dreamed up. My boys have bother played through the demo twice --and are super pumped for the game.
  8. @SlugQuestion 4 -- are there more than 1 team asked for in this one?
  9. Finally saw the credits role on Wolfenstein 2 last night. I will be starting Shadow of the Tomb Raider on Wednesday...
  10. Ray traced games won't launch with Nvidia's GeForce RTX graphics cards I've also heard Linus make the same comment that there were no games for them to test Ray Tracing on. That even though SotTR was out, the patch to implement Ray Tracing wasn't..
  11. They do have setups for ~$450 -- but yes you certainly can spend $1,300 (and a lot more) on one. I know there are wheels as low as ~$100. YMMV.
  12. Yes. There are lots of options -- at a variety of price points. I would really love a Fanatec setup, but the cost is too rich for my blood.
  13. I'll be waiting for this to get cheap -- Forza Horizon 4 comes out earlier in the week, so my time is already committed.
  14. VIP doubles your credits for every race. It also gives you 3 Forza Edition cars, and periodic car gifts. The double credits really eliminates the grind in Forza games.
  15. I must have missed this. Didn't you just buy a $3,000 video card 8 months ago? That is just as powerful as this one? Or did I miss something?
  16. Go for it! VIP is so worth it! I paid $15 for it -- the rest was with Microsoft Rewards points.
