My big blocker for it is I hated the momentum and acceleration of movement. I much prefer very responsive controls for 2d except when you’re in the air or in a more explicit dash of some sort. -

It was always good if you had the newest PC hardware at launch (and I do mean newest) to avoid endless bugs, but with this patch and expansion it's pretty special, IMO.

Yeah, you can easily play a lot before starting it. I did a number of quests and side quests but decided to dart a bit toward it at some point. Still a fuck ton in the game left to do now Not sure how much of the side quests I'm going to play since I already did most of them way back. Will probably do some of the big character side quests and then otherwise mainline to the end. Blades + Movement + "preem" cyberware is the best. I enjoy the gunplay a lot in this, but god damn flying through the air slicing people up is so good And when the shit really hits the fan, it only gets more fun.

I finished Phantom Liberty. Great ride. A very cyberpunk ending to it, in a good way.

That's like, the most obvious way to be a troll in the game. I don't know of any other game series where you can sleep with a man's wife in front of him and listen to him complain about it during the act. Ultimately you can't just can't point to many games like Fable 1/2, if any.

The game was deeply flawed but also stood out from the rest. Myself, my wife, and many of my friends got a lot of playtime out of it doing really goofy shit in the world that you just can't really do in many, if any, other games. Humor was super on point. I might also have to include Fable 2 in the list, but Fable started it, so it was a bit more obvious of a choice.

I'm not saying you'll enjoy any of the AC games, but you really can't base your decision on the first one. Although the first has a few fans, by large most people agree it didn't actually deliver until the AC2 trilogy (which, yes, is a weird thing to say). And then the Origins and Odyssey games are entirely different beasts from that.

My biggest lament going Reflex and blades (and tech ability) is I almost never need to use the guns. And that's a lament because a lot of the guns are fun! But I can just jump anywhere, stab people through the chest, reflect bullets, and enter an invincibility mode if I start taking damage. So the guns are kind of unnecessary I did use guns for that first PL boss though, so that's something!

Yeah, that was easily the hardest fight in the game and I took the wrong team to it when I did it! Were not for scrolls of I would have had to reload to an earlier save and change my team makeup. But fortunately, I horde

So don't? You can swap out your cyberdeck (the thing that lets you hack) for other things like slowing down time for others (but not you), or making you temporarily invincible and then not only do you not have to scan/hack, you can't! Playing as a "street samurai" character, I absolutely swapped out my cyberdeck for temporary invincibility!

I'd go with Sorcerer if you want something closer to Wizard but with Charisma.
