Yeah I think something is supposed to trigger. Just try to last long enough for it to happen and the rest of the game isn't nearly as hard as that part.

Yep and that's my issue as well. RE7 was slower and less combat focused. RE8 the enemies became more agile but Ethan still moves like a slug, and there is A LOT of combat in this game.

If you buy name brand bread those tend to be expensive. If you get store brand, like Kroger brand then it is $1.25 Milk is a bit lower at $3.20 a gallon. Personally I've rarely ever gone for the gallon, I go for the half gallon at a dollar less. Oat Milk is the same as gallon of regular milk though. (Which is what I actually buy now) And yeah you can do better on eggs around $2.90 But I'm pretty sure these prices have been the same even when minimum wage was lower. 🤷‍♀️

Well, I'm watching Max play it and he breezed through Returnal. The big difference between this and Returnal is Returnal was designed to be what it is. Resident Evil is just Resident Evil from the first person perspective trying to be Doom but with the mechanics of RE jank EDIT: Looks like it was more of an issue with the game not triggering the cutscene at the beginning or something, otherwise he spent like nearly an hour and a half with that first encounter.

It's fine for him because he can afford to pay scalper prices to get one.

Did you turn off the controller look acceleration? (Did you use a controller?) because turn this off and the game feels a lot better. But if you just didn't like the combat at all it probably won't change your mind.

Yeah, unfortunately the Bay Area is not known for good Mexican food. I mean there are some decent looking places (like those places on Man vs Food in the Mission District or San Jose) but I haven't been to those places.
