I think if you have 3 other people to play it with it would be very fun.

XC golf is kind of annoying. It's like speed golf except you never tee off. You have to hit from the green and then shoot your shot over cliffs and such and the indicator is very vague so it's hard to tell if your shot will actually go over a cliff or not.

Y tu mamá también: 7/10 - I feel like in general this is something I wouldn't really be into anymore but this movie has special sauce and it's called Alfonso Cuarón. It's like a buddy road trip movie with these two knuckleheads (You might recognize Diego Luna from Rogue One) but also a coming of age type movie and a nice slice of life along the way. I think the humor is honest and the look at reality maybe a bit somber. Mexico probably isn't the best eye candy but this movie makes it look charming. In any case I liked it. I say the only gripe I had was the narration felt a little awkward, like the audio takes an abrupt cut and then the voice over comes in. I feel like maybe an audio fade would be less jarring.

No it doesn't. You watch like 3 or 4 movies in a row. All this says is that you watched 1 movie in the time it would take for you to watch 2 movies.

So I played some more adventure mode and it kind of reminded me of what I liked about the 3DS game So last I left off in adventure mode you did the tutorial matches and then you have to qualify for a tournament, and then you play the tournament. This reminded me of what I liked about the 3DS games, the special online tournaments. I went to the online section and there's nothing like this in the game. You can only search for rando games. Pretty lame. In any case this adventure mode tournament, I do like the idea of it. It's played over two days (except 1 day is the front 9 and the 2nd day is the back 9) I finished -8, so pretty much dominated. But here's the issue I have. The golf (at least in the first area) is all speed golf. I think I like the idea of speed golf but in practice not really a huge fan. Running to the ball is a distraction, you don't get to see where your ball lands, in fact you might run past your ball because you're just concentrating on running to the green (where you think your shot landed). In speed golf you don't get the joy of seeing your own shot go in. I hit a hole in one and never even got to see it go in the hole. And like I said earlier, the whole game seems pretty easy because it's revolved around speed golf. So you don't really even need to line up your putts or shots much, just look at the flag and press the meter. Which kind of brings up another gripe about the "control" stat - I guess this is how the ball deviates from the shot trajectory but it seems completely random. But at the same time, though the ball randomly doesn't go straight it still lands on the fairway. After you win the tournament the second course opens up in a new area and they introduce a new mode called XC golf, which I haven't played yet. The adventure mode not only has you running around on the golf course but you'll be running around the country clubs as well, which I dunno, I think the areas could stand to be smaller because there's a lot of nothing between your house and the golf course. In any case I'll keep playing it but I can see how it might be disappointing to some at the moment.

This is probably the case because in the video they showed, they showed Skyrim as an example. Pretty sure that never had HDR.

Heh, well I'm still in the tutorial, it just does a tutorial for everything. There is a story and you're like some new rookie on the scene and all this. When you finish your lessons you get to level up your character. I don't know what Aces is. I've only played Mario Golf World Tour as my other Mario Golf game, and I don't remember how much of it went, but I did enjoy it. Also, I play in handheld and I think I had this gripe for Fire Emblem but do these guys know that you should make the text at least double the size it already is? I mean it's better than the FE text but barely.

I'm still doing the adventure mode. It has you play the other modes, like speed golf and such.

I generally didn't watch too much giant bomb stuff, but probably more than most. Usually UPF, the talk overs and various game related game stuff. But I generally never watch it live. They only have two videos up now on their (nextlander) youtube page (I linked one of them in the Dark Alliance thread) and I haven't watched it, but looks mostly like where they left off but mainly because it's just the same people doing the same thing.

So I said this in the other thread: And if you listen to the latest episode (Episode 3) it was like a crash course for them in what Twitch is and provides and it's almost in line with what I said a couple of months ago. It's like by being on their own site they had no idea of how things are outside of the site.
