Well I finally wrapped this up. A pretty impressive effort for a team of around 50 people. As someone who played the original I do not remember a great majority of the stuff in this game. Also I had memories of Xen being boring and ugly but they completely turned it around in this game. Now it's impressive looking and probably the best part of the game. ( @Moa was right! ) I played on the middle difficulty and I think the human AI cheats, they know where you are without seeing you, but the aliens were a little bit more forgiving. Also, the soundtrack is pretty cool too. I'm surprised this didn't win a Geoff Keighley game award for most beautiful soundtrack. Oh well! And Thanks again to @Commissar SFLUFAN who gave this to me oh so long ago.

Wolf's Rain: 9/10 - Sounding like a broken record, but, this is one I've heard good things about but had it in an unwatched backlog until now! I'm somewhat upset it took me so long to watch it because this feels like one of the all time greats. It is a masterclass in animation, storytelling and music. It all starts up front with this awesome intro song by none other than Yoko Kanno Then the rest is just gravy. It takes place in a dystopian future, and the world building is pretty incredible. The story is engaging from beginning to end and no stupid story threads. The tones is very somber and mature, someone might be cutting onions while you watch, who knows! I docked it a point because about halfway through there is like a 3 or 4 episode stretch and they are just recap episodes of the first half of the show. Kind of a waste but I guess when you're pumping out stuff of this quality you need some extra time to make sure the last half is just as good as the first half. So yeah if you somehow haven't seen this you probably should make it a priority. From the beginning of the year I had set aside 5 or 6 anime to watch from my backlog. This all was spurred on because @Bloodporne wanted to see something "dark and gritty" Up until this point the things I have watched I probably wouldn't have been comfortable recommending to him. This I would say would come closest to what he wanted to see. It's not dark and gritty but I would say dark and bleak. And after this one, this was my last one I set aside to watch, I wanted to take a break and go back to my Korean shows. However, I have more to watch so I could be persuaded to watch more, but that was my plan in any case. Super super PS PS here at the end. I kept seeing Les Claypool's name in the credits and I guess there is a Les Claypool III that is not related to the Les Claypool (but they even have the same middle initial ). And he was an audio engineer at a place called Magnitude 8, a recording studio which I guess is where they did the English dub for this.

For me, buying things goes against the idea of getting free stuff so I haven't bought anything in a while. When I have bought something it was pre-gamepass and I would use my reward points for microsoft store credit and then buy the game on sale. According to my account the last game I bought was (well actually) I used MS credit to get The Outer Worlds Expansion pack (September of last year) but before that Asassins Creed Origins in 2018 that was on sale for $28, but that was bought with MS credit. But now it's just going to go into feeding Gamepass, and as I mentioned earlier in this thread I had just redeemed a year's worth!

If you buy a lot of games on Xbox you get a lot of reward points. I don't buy a lot so I don't get rewards stacked up like you.

It's not really a method but dedication I suppose. 1. Do the daily set 2. Do the rewards on Xbox (If you get an achievement make sure to get the 50 points on the Xbox rewards app, especially if you get one over the course of days) 3. Be on the lookout for "monthly punch" cards 4. Game pass gives rewards as well 5. Use edge and do bing searches for things you'd normally do on google. 6. Use edge on your phone and do the same thing as above. I guess if you don't want to use bing that much people just do nonsense searches to get the max up per day so you can do that as well. Also keep in mind the longer your streak you get bonus points.
