Nothing beats all the Shovel Knight expansions. Three full expansions that are basically all new games along with Showdown, which is also an entirely new game. All of that for free with the purchase of the base game? It's the only game that gave away so much for free I felt compelled to triple-dip.

Yeah, my assumption was that they wanted a new gene base for clone troopers, only all with force powers. That would be why they were OK with the child, dead or alive.

Street rat to second in the kingdom sounds like a way better story than anything with the idiot who should have been eaten by a tiger but somehow survived.

The issue is that it's a limited, 8 episode series. That and pacing. I didn't have a problem with last week's episode, even if things ended where they started. It still gave you some insight into Mando and it wasn't filled with people making bad decisions. This episode was filled with people making bad decisions. Mando should never have left the young guy alone with Ming-Na Wen's character, nor should he have ever told that guy where his ship was. Like why? The dude is obviously a guild member in training, so why? If it was to show how desperate he was for money, outside of the guild, it didn't really do a good job of showing that. Also, why would guild wannabe even think he can take on Mando alone? He just heard tell that Mando took out a ton of seasoned guild members. He had the child. He could have just disappeared with the child and still be welcomed into the guild with open arms on that alone.

As others pointed out, the issue with this episode was that it was very much a filler episode a series get in the middle of season four when they're looking to pad the season and hit syndication. An eight episode season should not be paced in this way. It ends with Mando having the exact same amount of money with a ship in the exact same shape while also being pretty much in the exact same place.

Every headline dealing with police doing something awful had a disappointing headline. It's been like that forever, even if this one is egregious. Headlines would make you think the hostage takers are who killed this guy.

I'm still trying to figure out their target audience. Hololens is even more expensive, but they're very specifically shooting for the corporate market. I think Magic Leap is shooting for the same market with a cheaper device that is, by many impressions, better than Microsoft's offering. However, they're also selling the Magic Leap headset at retail...for...reasons...? They also spent a lot of time working on gaming and other entertainment applications, which is...a thing they're working on...also for reasons. Also, their next headset will have 5G because...I have no idea.

I would watch most of this on Netflix for a laugh. Wait...HBO Max is the right one there. Yeah, I'd watch this on HBO Max. I was going to subscribe as soon as they snatched all the Studio Ghibli content, anyway. It can't possibly be worse than watching the DNA episode of Story Bots for the five millionth time with my kids...no, it'll probably still be worse.

I don't see how leaving a kid unconscious for seven minutes after receiving a blow to the head isn't child endangerment. Like, if that happened in a school-sponsored football game an ambulance would be called and the kid would be taken off the field on a stretcher.

It's not for 8 year olds, but it was likely bred by the indifference of faculty. If a kid could get knocked unconscious like this and then have a bunch of mandated reporters just ignore it, then it's not really any sort of mystery how these kids got to this point.

Every school official here, down to the nurse, needs to be fired, charged with child endangerment, and never allowed to work with kids again.

I'm happy to see someone list Baba is You. It's one of the most inventive games I've ever played.

Actually coming out? Valley of the Gods was supposed to be out this year and is only being delayed/cancelled because Valve put the devs of that game to work on Alyx, DotA, and the Steam client. You make it sound like the game was vaporware or something.

People are worried about Trump's feelings being hurt and how it could hurt diplomatic relationships that are already nearly nonexistent because of how petty Trump is. Nobody really cares about anything Trudeau actually said since Trump has said much worse on Twitter and in news conferences about other world leaders. This isn't even up for debate.
