Tell me about it. I know folks that work at MGH and the VA hospital. Not everyone that needs to be tested is getting tested. There's a reason we have hundreds of people in quarantine that aren't also known infected. It's ridiculous. We have like 100 cases here in Massachusetts with another 500 or so folks in quarantine. Everything is fine.

Work is why people are freaking out in the States. Many can't afford to take days off¹ since employers aren't required to offer paid days off, safety nets are nearly nonexistent, and a ton of people can't afford to see a doctor and are used to being afraid of being burdened with crazy medical bills. That leads to a situation where, if you live in a larger city, you worry about the people you interact with it just ride the subway with. There are like a million things the White House could do to make things better. They've just chosen to forgo them all because this is obviously just fake news meant to make Trump look bad so why should he take any of this serious.

You think Biden is going to excite the younger electorate that doesn't typically vote? He might make Texas Democrats happy, but they were already Democrats. Maybe I'm not seeing it. I just don't know what voters see Biden and go from being a non-voter to rushing to the polls.

Unless Biden is going to somehow turn Texas blue this year, I'm not sure what he brings to Texas that matters.
