  1. Looks like slower-paced Metroid Prime, only now I need to take a shower and make sure I'm up to date on all my shots. I could be into this. I don't normally like FPS with a gamepad, but this one looks like it'll be fun on a TV.
  2. People that jumped on the Q train. It's totally possible to fall down the conspiracy rabbithole on Facebook and YouTube. Also, Q wasn't a thing until after Trump became president. Now that Trump's team is hinting at CP on Hunter's laptop, it'll drive them when further into Trump's camp.
  3. Looks like that'll be a no for bluetooth controllers for any game streaming apps that stream over a web browser. Good for Figure and Amazon that anyway have their own WiFi controllers, but a wired controller like the Razer Kishi might also work. Apple will remove app that made it easy to play Stadia on iOS WWW.THEVERGE.COM Stadium is disappearing from the App Store. Sounds like Apple doesn't like webapps that access the Bluetooth stack, though I guess this might not be an issue if you could just direct users to just manually browse to the site via the URL.
  4. Nah, the idea would be to vote and give Biden an overwhelming victory in order to move the media narrative directly to Trump attempting to steal the election. That might spook enough Republicans to stop them. If it's close, any Trump shenanigans will be both sided by the media in a heartbeat. However, pretending that the GOP will not act on any of the stuff they're planning to is pointless. You have to say least be prepared for that kind of bullshit, because even with an overwhelming Trump loss expect these last few months to be anything but boring. Boring doesn't happen until Biden is sworn in.
  5. Hey, I'm only repeating what Republicans are saying they want to do, but sure, let's just listen to them and then assume they would never dare to act on their words. That's totally worked out well for us over the last few decades.
  6. None of that needs to happen as there are FAR easier ways to steal an election in the US and all it takes is a friendly court and enough state officials to circumvent the popular vote since it's not like the president is voted on that way anyway. The only thing that's stopped that from happening often in the past is because of some stupid gentleman's agreement, but there is no legal mechanism in place and that was certainly be design.
  7. Trump is totally going to bang the Q drum, isn't he? These are his most ardent supporters. Next two weeks should be fun.
  8. I hear you, but what if many pollsters don't take changing demographics well enough into account. Trump Is Losing Ground With White Voters But Gaining Among Black And Hispanic Americans | FiveThirtyEight FIVETHIRTYEIGHT.COM There’s a well-known truth in politics: No one group swings an election. But that doesn’t mean that the demographic trends bubbling beneath the surface can’t ha… As I mentioned previously, there's a straight social media bombardment targeting religious Hispanics and African Americans that might not be politically active, don't watch the debates or even the news regularly, but do see this stuff about Trump protecting churches and Biden wanting to close them down followed by close of Trump talking about Christianity out Biden talking about trans rightsp popping up on Facebook and Instagram. This stuff might not be getting enough attention.
  9. Yes, but that's only because Obama was the Muslim antichrist or whatever bullshit they managed to come up with based on a combination of AM talk radio and Fox News. Back when I actually had a Facebook, I couldn't keep track of the stuff being shared. Stuff like Obama cancelling elections, bringing in Shari'a Law, signs he was the antichrist, or whatever else you can possibly imagine. Spanish Facebook is oddly worse because there seems to actually be more of the batshit crazy just being shared out in the open. I thought I had recovered a few of my braincells when I killed off my Facebook account last year, but now I've got some of those same friends and family sharing that stuff with me directly over messenger. At least these days, the crazy has been amped up to such a degree that they're asking if this is all really true.
  10. That's the thing. I AM a religious Christian. The number of people I get into arguments with about this drives me insane. I'm not at all convinced in a literal antichrist or anything like that, but I have plenty of conversations with friends and family that do. If you ask one of them that's a Trump supporter to describe what the antichrist would be like in the modern world, they describe Trump. To the damn T. If you bring up this, it's no "Trump is president whether I like it or not because God wanted him there". If you ask them "Would God stop the antichrist from rising into power?". It's an obvious no and the cognitive dissonance makes my head explode. My only hope for redeeming these people's brain cells is that Trump loses, badly, on election night and they have to come to terms with it. Who am I kidding, though? Biden is obviously going to die and Harris is actually the antichrist because Q decided that Trump threw the election for blah blah blah.
  11. I think I might have an answer for this one for those that aren't aware of what's being shared On Spanish speaking social media. There are a TON of conservative religious memes and Trump quotes going around that friends and family keep sending me on WhatsApp. The most egregious ones saying stuff like Biden is looking to pass anti-church laws and then get all the churches in the country shut down. It's crazy and I'm assuming there's some Spanish-speaking Russian out there churning these things out.
  12. Boooo... I guess Facebook just really wants verified real people whose data they can to be unresponsible with. Cool. Yeah, I'll wait for the Reverb G2.
  13. Here's my worry and the one I'm dealing with right now. I had a Facebook account and I'm worried that trying to create a new one will just reactivate my old one. I guess I can create a burner email address for it, but that sounds awful when it comes to do stuff like reset passwords or whatever. It might be my best bet because the only other VR headset that night be good and not pushing a grand is the upcoming HP Reverb G2. If also really rather not give Facebook any of my money, so...I guess I'll wait to see what reviews for the Reverb G2 look like.
  14. The two DQs I've been by last summer in New Hampshire both did the upside down thing everytime they handed out a Blizzard.
  15. None of it matters. Trump has straight up told us this much and it didn't matter. If Democrats had any sense they'd extend the ban on foreign money in elections to foreign aid or information for future instances. Of course, none of that will happen. There will be no be laws enacted to stop another Trump because we're dumb and Democrats are run by people that want to return to unwritten norms and Republicans are run by people more than happy to ignore them.
  16. I believe it. The bridge I have to cross to get home is a temporary bridge that was first put up a little more than 30 years ago. Current promise is that it'll finally be replaced in the next ten years. Fingers crossed.
  17. That sounds about right. I'm sure there's a good chance Biden wins the popular vote by double digits, but that has nothing to do with the electoral college. More people registering to vote in New York and Massachusetts increasing his lead in the popular doesn't do much.
  18. They aren't undecideds. In her car she's a registered Republican that "voted for Hillary" and is "leaning Biden" but thinks Trump is dreamy with a lovely smile? I actually laughed when she started talking.
  19. That's the thing. We already know the companies ALL have the ability to do this because they've either admitted as much or already do so in other countries. Google has the ability to make certain items not pop up thanks to the EU's right to be forgotten. They and everyone else can ban Nazi stuff in Germany. They can also censor anything they want in China. Facebook and Twitter have also straight up said they have the tools to do this stuff on the US, but are afraid their algorithms would affect conservatives too much since they do enjoy their dog whistles. It's not about if they can, but more about if they're willing to.
