Loved this game on N64. I might actually pick this up!
Now they just need to reboot BattleTanx!

And that is why the US will be the last western nation to adopt it (if at all). Money will make sure that workers do not have any power in negotiating their terms of employment.
-
But why? I mean, Sinclair is awesome for conservatives. Was it Fox that saw it as a competitor and asked the administration to scuttle the deal?
-
So I'm sure we will see a fully-funded counter-operation any second now...

No, the GOP has. They are fine with allowing pretty much anything to occur to the US if it means they can be in power and then make money off of that power.
Here's an honest solution: Make it so that governing Senators and Congressmen get paid a reduced amount, and opposition elected officials get paid $20,000,000 a year. Then they will be happy to sit there and get rich while the other side actually governs.

Being afraid of the end-game of a group and allowing it to prevent you from implementing any of their goals is basically cowardice. The US needs more socialism. Does it need end-game socialism? Probably not. But it needs democratic socialism like Canada or to an even greater extend the Scandinavian countries. Those nations haven't slid into Marxism.

So... what the fuck? Pedophilia is funny to some people? I get that it's not real, but what's the fucking point? Why do these guys insist on doing shit like this?
Everything is funny in the right context. Hell, there are some good 9/11 jokes out there, including my favorite knock knock joke. I would never tell them directly to victims of 9/11, but if they sought them out and found them themselves, I would hope my life wouldn't be ruined. Humor is only humor because it pushes limits.

Those things don't have to be at odds... the collective is made up of individuals.
Everyone would prefer to drive a car (or at least the majority), but that is bad for society, and it would be better if everyone took the bus or train. There are many other examples where the good of the collective is contrary to the wants or good of the individual.

@b_m_b_m_b_m - I see!
So the Administration would have to essentially get the court overturn to that portion of the Clean Air Act...or even the entire Act as a whole.
Edit: I suppose the ICC could form the basis for that argument?
As I understand it, Trump wants to revoke CA's waiver, but legal experts have said that he can't because he would be targeting a specific state and the CAA has no test for allowing/disallowing specific waivers. So the only way around this is to basically try and overturn the CAA itself, which is mad.

Yeah, lol. The "great middle" are a bunch of ignorant idiots who don't know anything about public policy.

I mean this company is obviously about to get sued into oblivion...but they might have an out because the family is black and people will find something in their past to say they deserved it. "The family were no angels."
Horribly tragedy, and the tour guides should be in prison.

QuoteAccording to an email sent to Raw Story Friday afternoon by Matthew Harrigan — Senior Manager of Corporate Communications at The Home Depot — Maurice Rucker has been offered his job back.
In the email, Harrigan wrote: ” I’m reaching out from The Home Depot to provide an update regarding Maurice Rucker. We’ve taken another look at this and we are offering Maurice his job back. Would you mind updating your story? That was quick!

I would've sacked an employee who did something similar without a second thought, especially if I'm an executive in a company with a "family-friendly" image.
The company founded by a noted anti-woman, anti-semitic, and anti-black man?

The Times-Union reports that Maurice Rucker, 60-year-old black man, was let go from a job he’s held for 10 years—making $13 an hour—because he politely asked a customer to leash his dog in the store.
“I said to him, “Sir, when you have your dog in here we prefer that you keep it on a leash,'” according to the Times-Union.
He turned around and said, ‘F**k you. You’re an a*****e you’re a piece of s**t,'” Rucker said.
He says, ‘If Trump wasn’t president, you wouldn’t even have a job.’ He said, ‘You’re from the ghetto, what do you know?'”QuoteAfter the relentless barrage of insults, Rucker shot back.
“‘You’re lucky I’m at work, because if I wasn’t, this wouldn’t be happening, or you wouldn’t be talking to me like this,'” Rucker told the Times Union.
Home Depot, which had not given Rucker a sizable raise during his decade of service, told the paper that they were sorry their employee was subject to racist abuse, but that he was nevertheless in the wrong.

Wow. Were they cried and tasteless? Yes. Have we ALL made jokes like them? Yes. Does he believe in rape and all that? No.
We are living in the age of no humour.

"Not liking communicating with the press" and being bad at it is not an excuse for completely lying about basic functionality in your game. Yes, the game has come a long way, but he lied (objectively) about its features at launch.

Rudolph W. Giuliani, Mr. Trump’s personal lawyer, confirmed in a telephone conversation on Friday that Mr. Trump had discussed the payments with Mr. Cohen on the tape but said the payment was ultimately never made. He said the recording was less than two minutes and demonstrated that the president had done nothing wrong.
"You see, my client offered to pay her $200,000, but the deal never went through. It is purely coincidental that his lawyer ended up paying her $200,000 and that my client then paid his lawyer $200,000. This proves my client's innocence."

So another fake referendum? I mean yeah Crimea would have voted to join Russia, but not by the margin that the vote recorded. So what is Putin's plan, hold a similar vote in eastern Ukraine? Get 99% of the vote?

If all American children were right now enrolled in private schools, the American public would be convinced by the GOP that "public education is simple unrealistic, and we can't expect taxpayers to foot the bill!"
Public post-secondary education and healthcare is a proven concept in other western democracies.

I would view "man it must be hard for Trump to walk around with Putin’s dick in his ass" as entirely about dominance (he is getting fucked by Putin without consent) and not about homosexuality.
