Laura Loomer was seen traveling with Trump today, so I don't think he's going to back down.

What are the odds that this photo gets passed around by MAGAs (and maybe even referenced by Trump) as a sign that Biden secretly is still be coerced not to run, and that he now wants Trump to beat Harris because she performed a coup against him?

ActBlue says largest hour of fundraising in their history. Looks like $10 million so far. I expect that to go higher now with Swift's endorsement.

Yeah yeah the debate...but Taylor Swift just endorsed Harris a few moments ago.
Edit - she signed her Instagram post with:

I know debate skills are honestly unimportant to the actual job of POTUS, but it makes me feel a little embarrassed for the country that Harris’ performance is being rated as good by people here. More than half the time she isn’t able to actually answer the question posed by the moderators.
Grade inflation isn’t limited to schools, I guess
That's like saying you watched the Royal Rumble and were disappointed in Andre the Giant's lack of Greco-Roman wrestling skills. This isn't a debate, it's a contest to look the most Presidential for the dumbest 5% of the population (undecideds).

I actually just went to try WOW today after seeing a thread on Resetera about how it's quite easy to jump in solo now and just have fun. But then it turns out I can't get the free trial because I apparently did a free trial 10+ years ago. But I'm not going to pay $20 for a single month just to see if I like it!

Speaking of tanks - how effective has the Abrams been since Ukraine started deploying these tanks to the front lines?
I think more effective than their Soviet stock, but still less effective than the US hoped. This is mainly because, while main battle tanks still have a valid role in warfare, they are less effective in slog campaigns of trench and forest warfare where drones and ATGM are in use.

So basically, someone in Ohio put out a rumour that Haitian immigrants were killing neighbourhood dogs and cats for voodoo rituals and to eat them. Then a homeless woman (Black, not immigrant) was caught killing a cat. This has combined into the right-wing saying that Haitian voodoo gangs are stealing dozens of cats and dogs for their rituals.

It's too little, too late. At this point, it would be better to give Ukraine another 100 tanks and 300 field artillery units.

Nice, after Russia has had months to move and hide their most-valuable targets.

I'm looking forward to the debate tonight. I really want the moderators to discuss economic policy above all else - especially tariffs. I want ABC to get Trump on the record and have him discuss what he thinks a tariff is and who ultimately pays for tariffs.
Moderator: Can you explain why you think tariffs will save Americans money?
Trump: China will pay. They'll pay. So many—money is going to go to, so much to our families. They won't know what to do with it. So much, from so—they'll say, they'll ask to give some back, to help—and that's not including what else.
Harris: As you can see, he doesn't even understand tariffs. They never save anyone money, they won't help American business that are hurting. Here is my 12-step plan to address affordability (lays out plan)
NYT tomorrow: In competing visions of future, Harris stumbles on tariffs (in article, it will point out that tariffs helped some company one time in 1870, proving that she was wrong that they "never" work)

My labor rep asked me to canvas for Harris in Nevada and Arizona; I’m considering it.
In 2015 I canvassed door-to-door with the local NDP candidate for our federal election. As in, it was just him and I for two shifts. We hit about 350 houses in two parts of the city, talking to tonnes of people, and he ended up winning the election by 132 votes over the Conservative incumbent (50,000 votes cast).
I will brag about that forever, and I still feel great about any small difference I made. So I'd highly recommend you volunteer to help out!
