I'm fine with that. We need to kick his ass out and sometimes you have to fight back with pieces of shit in this world. Throwing insults at Trump really doesn't bother me much because he's been doing this for years and no one has thrown it back. It seems to rattle him a lot so I think it's working politically. Therefore it seems justified. When people start throwing it at others that don't deserve it is when there's a problem.

I agree on some level ethically, but I think the needs of the moment outweigh all other considerations and potential long-term consequences. If this helps take him down and makes him a 1 term president, it's more important to the country than whatever normalization this creates. In the end, he was responsible for making our politics more like grade school bully insults. Hopefully we can get away from it later. Sometimes you have to talk shit back to a piece of shit like Trump.

I’m really looking forward to this. If it sells well, it would justify more games like it. They are saying the right things. Some of you were talking about a tie fighter vs a x wing. The Tie Fighter doesn’t have shields by default like a xwing, but there was mission where the empire equipped your tie fighter or interceptor with shields for what it’s worth. I can’t remember the campaign and mission number.

I strongly agree with the majority’s logic and this is a solid decision. Intent doesn’t matter as much as what the law actually says, and there’s no logical way to separate sex from sexual identity or orientation in these circumstances. This gives me more confidence that this court will not overturn same sex marriage.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/intel-top-chip-designer-resigns-202419120.html https://wccftech.com/exclusive-intel-internal-memo-jim-keller-departure-new-structure/ 2 years and he's out. Makes you wonder what happened. This is good news for AMD in my view. Intel may not be innovating as much as I pictured without Keller there.

If you compare the daily case counts between us and Europe, our shut downs only stalled the virus. We didn’t get enough buy in. The European graphs show a steep decline whereas ours started going down but theN flattened. And here we are. We can reopen, but it should be illegal to not wear a mask. I’ve already seen people relaxing all around me. We are still requiring masks where I work, but I noticed grocery stores and many other businesses have stopped the mandate even though hospitalizations are at all time highs in Texas and infection rates and total daily case counts are trending up.

Texas reports a record number of hospitalized coronavirus patients after state reopened early https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/08/texas-reports-a-record-high-number-of-hospitalized-coronavirus-patients-after-state-reopened-early.html Data: https://apps.texastribune.org/features/2020/texas-coronavirus-cases-map/?_ga=2.78931284.1920787121.1591669431-1624147324.1591669431 I watch these charts everyday and the ones around my area to try to determine what sort of measures we need to be taking. The improvement on many of the stats started to level off in May to mid-May. Just the past 3 weeks, I started to see the daily infection rate and the case count start to slowly trend up. This 3 week trend was also present in the hospitalization numbers and here we are at a record. Now who knows, this may trend down from here, but it's doubtful because this isn't a typical Drudge headline of a statistic blip. This was from a trend which anyone can clearly look at for the past 3 weeks at the Texas Tribune. Edited

It's an interesting possibility. However, I'm skeptical of any one or simple explanation for the market's behavior. These valuations seem insane to me, but unless they reach Japan's highest CAPE ratio from several decades back, who knows at this point. It could easily dive 30% over the next 2 months and I wouldn't be shocked depending on the news. In any case, all the index fund purchases I've made are way up. On the other hand, I didn't follow my gut and buy some Airbus when it was completely in the gutter.

I think reopening is going to a cause a second wave of spikes, but it will take 6-8 weeks (possibly longer) before you start to see it materialize in a meaningful way. This may not happen if enough people continue to use masks and social distance during the reopening process. I see a lot of people around me starting to loosen up and I think it's premature. Bars are starting to serve, I just heard someone I know is going to a wedding with a ton of people just 2 weeks from now.

I just remember a washed out grey look and me looking at my phone to see how much longer until it was over. I want a modern Superman movie that is hopeful, something that resembles the 1978 film that had the hopeful theme and made everyone feel good and proud. Man of Steel tried something darker. Dark is okay for Batman, but not Superman.

I understand this view and Musk lately has pissed me off. However this is bigger than Musk. We are in the middle of a fundamental change regarding the costs to get the LEO. This is opening up more satellites, space telescopes, space habitats, and missions to the ISS, Moon, and Mars on the cheap. It's a barrier that we should all celebrate falling. The thing that rubs me the wrong way about it all is how nationalistic it is. I get it, our first launch in a decade. But still, space is where I would hope we eventually unite as a planet.

Got it working. Thanks! I never intended to get HBO Max regularly, but since it comes with my Internet, why not! -

I have ATT 1000 as well. Do you know how we are supposed to get it through ATT? Are they going to email us or what? -
Movies Solo 2.... if it were to happen
Massdriver replied to johnny's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
If they did a sequel, they need to change pretty much everything about the feel from the first one. Solo was barely entertaining. -
