  1. Well dammit I fall into that category, guess I'll be moving along then. Oh wait, nevermind, IT'S SPEEDO SEASON YA'LL!
  2. I had zero investment in this years Mania outside of the whole "Will he/won't he show?!?" w/ regards to Cody Rhodes. I have to admit, I welled up, got emotional AF, and I'm truly happy to see him back in the E. That alone had me wanting to tune into Raw tonight & I enjoy where he intends to go with this story line for sure. As for Steve Austin, he did exactly what he's always done & KO sold his ass off & it was a special moment also. The Edge/AJ match was the banger of night two, no doubt about it. Wonder how Roman's shoulder is doing after Brock separated it from the rest of his body haha
  3. I'm just here because WE HAVE A FUCKING SHOWER AT D1P!? When the hell did that happen!?
  4. Unfortunately Darcy put it to rest on Friday that Joe Bob still says no ... HOWEVER ... it was April Fools' Day when she said that so who knows? Wouldn't mind having Tom Atkins on the premiere episode. That being said though, considering "Near Dark" is available this month again on Shudder, I'd much rather that be shown!!!
  5. They're about to open another in Syracuse, let's hope they'll do the same!
  6. RedLetterMedia recently did a video about "Geezer Teasers" and Bruce in particular. They even brought up the alleged health issues & then here we are not two weeks later. I feel awful for Willis & hope he has love & support from family & friends going forward. Hell of a way to fade away, but in the end, his legacy will live on forever & these recent years' of "work" won't even be remembered.
  7. @skillzdadirectaI hadn't been to a comic shop in a few years until a couple months back when Saga began running again, so I have snagged the last few issues of that. Still feels good to go into my LCS & just browse. Wasn't aware of those practices you mentioned but if so, that's tragic. I was heavily into buying weekly about a decade ago but as my collection ballooned & was spending far too much, I sort of just cut it off. Can keep my finger on the pulse of what's going on via boards, social media & the routine websites that report on the medium so it's all good. @SimpleGI'm with you on that Heavy Metal in 4K for the sound alone (not entirely sure how much better the art & animation will turn out but it'll be cool to see.)
  8. 9. I've been wanting to expand my 4K collection in 2022 & double down on the medium while it's still somewhat viable. We are seeing dwindling floor space for such items in our Best Buys, Targets, Wal-Marts, etc. and have had to peruse the niche market for specialty sellers like Arrow, Kino Lorber, Scream/Shout Factory, etc. That all being said, for those that are interested in discussing new/upcoming releases, sharing wishlists, their personal pick-ups, whatever the case may be, then please come here & do so. It doesn't even have to necessarily be film, but television, music, comics, whatever it is that you can feel in your hands then let's talk about it.
  10. Yeah I hear you about that performance! Like I want...no I need to re-watch this as soon as possible just to pick up those threads. Definitely a film to add to my physical copy collection for the rewatchability alone.
  11. While a genuine fun watch, looking at it through the lens of an addiction recovery specialist, Dave's got demons too. I truly fear that this loss will really send him way over the edge & there may not be a way back. I'm sincerely fearful.
  12. The loss of Taylor has been all I have thought of these last couple hours since I first read about this on Twitter. Of course I'm heartbroken that such a phenomenal talent is gone from a band I've been a fan of since the mid 90's. Moreover, my heart breaks for his family & friends of course, it doesn't even matter the circumstance, its done & he's gone & it truly fucking sucks! That said, my heart is shattered for both Pat & Dave ... the latter even more so because Taylor was his brother practically. I know it comes off as being a doomsayer but I really don't know how Dave is going to deal with this & it hurts you know? 2022 has taken a lot already and its barely 1/4 of the way done. FFS this is just shit.
  13. @EmblazonYes, that trailer IS real, it has already been shot & will be released more than likely within the next year. There is actually a 3rd potential film as Ti West has said he wanted to make a trilogy so there's potential. As for your comments about lingering shots, pulling attention & focus, allowing things to breath scene to scene is really refreshing & sort of serene in a way actually.
  14. I found it to be quite good, well paced & acted, solid story with a backstory that has a prequel trailer after the credits, this will be titled "Pearl" & I can't wait to scope it out!
  15. Much like Bob, I was pretty much 50/50 if this was a work or a shoot!
  16. T-minus 70 days! Sniper Elite 5 launches on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Epic, Steam, and the Windows Store May 26th, 2022.
  17. 98% Fresh out of 40 reviews so far. Like @Kamushastated, the word of mouth & buzz around this film have been spectacularly positive. I only JUST saw the trailer prior to making this thread, yet already had tix bought for a showing on Monday w/ a buddy because of how much positive vibes have been put out for it already ahead of its release on Friday.
