  1. Gotta agree w/ @Spawn_of_Apathy& @XxEvil AshxXon FM3 & FM4 being the peak of the series. FM6 turned it around a little bit, but coming off of FM5, that wasn't too hard to do. The layout for races was excellent and visually looked to offer SO much at the onset of beginning your career. I was not a fan of the whole cards = cars/mods/discounts/FM$ (even in FH5, definitely turned me off of it a bit because of this.)
  2. Also, I am a HUGE Matty Matheson fan, so between him & the lead alongside the premise of kitchen life & being in Chicago, I am all about this show!
  3. I watched the first episode. It's REALLY slow for nearly all of it YET it is so incredibly well acted (I mean HELLO! Look at the talent involved!) I'll more than likely wait for the whole season to drop on Hulu, then binge it. Oh wow this reminds me, there's another FX show premiering this week that I'm not sure anyone has on their radar, lemme start a thread for that!
  4. Was it touted ahead of Monday's show much like Friday's Smackdown had been advertised ahead of time? Feels like he's utilizing the headlines as a way to garner pops & numbers in viewing.
  5. Right off the top of my head I can think of: The Lost Boys From Dusk til Dawn Near Dark Nosferatu (1922) Univeral's Dracula w/ Bela Lugosi Salem's Lot John Carpenter's Vampires What We Do in the Shadows Yeah, needless to say, even if the aforementioned was all that existed, it would still be a solid sub-genre but there is SO MUCH MORE! Definitely one of my all time favorite creatures/monsters of lore of all time!
  6. No love for Donnie!? He's the brains ya'll!! Anywho, glad to see so many favorable reviews & generally good reception by fellow D1P'ers, I'll be sure to download it when I get home in a few hours from work on Game Pass!
  7. Well he DID see the mother of his children just get shot in the head ... by the man that he loves no less. I'm fairly sure he's more than somewhat torn, at the very least. I'd say each & every episode in season 3 topped the prior with ease & the whole of the season makes it the best yet for sure.
  8. So Lady Gaga as Harley in this corner of the DCU-Verse to further lean into the musical aspect, fascinating to be sure.
  9. That whole "start the game by freeing yourself from your umbilical cord" moment ... yeah that's not setting a creepy tone at all, whatsoever! Totally stoked to check this out in Oct. on Game Pass!
  10. While it sucks we have to wait until Spring of '23, at least that gives the Hot Wheels DLC for Forza Horizon 5 time to breath (wasn't it THE DLC to beat for FH4?) That being said, we should start to see a whole lot more behind the scenes & such in the coming months leading up to its release & I'm totally down for that. Still holding out hope we can go back to Mount Fujiyama (Fujumi Kaido), been missing that track since FM4!!
  11. So far the first feature ain't all that bad, definitely having a lot of fun watching!
  12. Another on my list of things to do. Love sharks, they are THE most beautiful sea creatures. Scuba diving is already something I love greatly, just gotta get to the ocean & do it proper! Ultimate dream would be the south coast of Australia about mid May when there is a lot of Great Whites & Whale sharks migrating through.
  13. Hot damn that is an awesome angle in which to tackle the property! Look at how they've handled Johnny, especially in the first couple seasons and how they shaped & molded that character. Pretty sure they could do the same with Duke, so I'm optimistic about this venture!
  14. I don't know what else you happen to have planned this weekend @silentbobbut god dammit WATCH HEAT!!!!!!!
  15. Bottom line, this is why you don't "add friends" who happen to be coworkers, and if they follow you, restrict/block them. Solves so many problems that way!
  16. Already pre-ordered my copy through Best Buy earlier this week! Been anxiously waiting years for this release (DAMN YOU DISNEY!) so yeah, definitely stoked for it! That said however, rumors abound that the audio is only DTS & not Dolby so yeah, take that how you want.
  17. Going to FINALLY experience this on Saturday and it's been a goal of mine to do since watching Point Break way back in the early 90's! Just curious for those who have gone, what are some good things to know, things to be aware of, all of that goodness? Also, feel free to recommend a good line when leaving the aircraft, I was thinking "Bombs Away!"
  18. Wanted to share this before posting my thoughts. I had gone to see this film on Sunday and there was roughly a dozen or so people in total, half of which walked out before the end. Those of us who stayed, all were talking after about "WTF did we just watch!?" I wouldn't necessarily call it a head scratcher, its just that there is A LOT going on with this film. It's what is enduring within the dermis if you will as opposed to the immediate outer layer. While I am still in my own way giving it an autopsy in my mind, piece by piece breaking down its nuances, I have to say that this film has not left my mind for a moment all these days later. Its quite topical in relation to body autonomy, who regulates our bodies, what we as a species are doing to cohabitate with one another & our environments. In fact, the more I find myself pondering the myriad of topics tackled & presented, the more I feel as though I need to re-watch it again actually. This is not for everyone, it IS a slow burn to the point where the numerous plots don't fully come together until well after the halfway point. That being said though, there's a growing piece inside of me that genuinely loves 'Crimes of the Future' more each day!
  19. The "well marbled" Americans can have the option to be smoked low & slow, brisket style, for 24 hours to render the fat before being transitioned into their compost heap!
  20. Hadn't ever heard of this before. I always joked for years about "If I die, just buy a gallon of gas & obtain a 55 gallon drum, set it & forget it!" Yet this option seems like a feasible, & relatively cheaper option than traditional burials or even cremation. May have to look into this as an option to include in my will, very cool for sure.
