  1. Overrated my ass, sorry but such a bad take. I've watched & re-watched the series SO many times. In fact, in lieu of this latest development, I'll probably go back & finish the most recent binge I had started a number of weeks back. Ouch @skillzdadirectaI love ya man but DAYUM hearing that take just HURT ME!
  2. Tony Sirico, Paulie Walnuts on ‘The Sopranos,’ Dies at 79 VARIETY.COM Tony Sirico, who was best known for portraying Paulie Walnuts on "The Sopranos," died Friday. He was 79.
  3. Playstation to remove digital films soon For those who say "Well if you bought it digitally you own it so why own physical?"
  4. I love that this show is a complete & total condemnation of this country, how it deifies our "heroes" and overlooks their wrong doings with blind praise and mass consumerism. Granted, perhaps the book also did this (evidentially I haven't read it but would very much like an omnibus or something to that affect once the show is over), yet the way its portrayed in this medium is stellar!
  5. I know in 2020 I went to the theaters roughly a half dozen times AFTER the pandemic had begun. In 2021, I was going nearly as steady as films were hitting theaters, come 2022 its back to business as usual with me attending the theater on average 3 times a month.
  6. Great way to tell a story plus isn't there a backstory element wherein Black Noir had maimed/made handicapped in a ball pit at one of those restaurants?
  7. Yeah, caught all of those announcements yesterday and my wallet has begun to weep! Only going to be getting crazier from what rumors are out there.
  8. While I finally hopped aboard the Boys train, only in the back half of season 2 (started the show about a week ago or so.) Solid cast, well written, fun premise for sure. Definitely makes me miss & wish there was more Invincible incoming (hopefully we'll get some sort of update at SDCC in July!?) but yeah, not a bad show in the least.
  9. Looks like the WORST 1 star AirBnB experience EVER! What's really nuts is I just, a couple weeks ago, used AirBnB for the first time so this trailer (which I saw in theaters ahead of "Black Phone") really freaked me out.
  10. Leon sorta took care of that! Just download & check it out @best3444worst case scenario, you used some of your monthly data & ended up not digging the game ... BUT ... I have an inkling it'll provide a cathartic itch worth scratching!
  11. Considering the up & down quality, fairly certain I'll wait until at least a handful of episodes are out before watching, if not just all out wait for the entire season to be released, then binge. A lot of other quality stuff being released currently, or set to arrive back within the next couple weeks including The Boys, WWDitS S4, & the final 6 eps of Better Call Saul!
  12. Interesting yet I'm curious if they aren't showing QTE events possibly being a thing, or if its an RPG like type of combat or what is going on. I'll keep an eye on this however, thanks @Commissar SFLUFAN
  13. Not sure if anyone else had gone to see this over the weekend but WOW! What a hell of a film given to us by Scott Derrickson & C. Robert Cargill!! For fans of 'Sinister', then go see this. For those of you that enjoy traveling to a "simpler time" then check it out. For those fascinated by extraordinary young talented actors absolutely killing it in a film, SEE THIS FILM! Now I will say, in terms of having "re-watchability", not entirely sure it necessarily has that going for it, but its still something to be experienced. The sound design alone is remarkable to be sure. As someone who grew up in a time not too far removed from 1978 (when this film takes place while I was born in 1980), there's a lot here to reminisce & be reminded of, something worthy of being longed for, no doubt about that. Yet because of this "simplicity", it allowed villains to reside within our own neighborhoods & this film does showcase such a dilemma so very brilliantly. Also worth mentioning that not only does Ethan Hawke do a phenomenal role as "The Grabber" but also seeing Jeremy Davies is always a win as well!!
  14. Oh yeah, between berating the patisserie & throwing his work on the ground, to your sous saying "Fuck this I'm out", all while your brand new POS system wasn't set up right only in turn to totally fuck you in the ass. The PTSD induction is a very real thing for those of us who've been there in our careers, it's legit NO JOKE! Yet, it's because of those moments that the team/brigade comes together & really pushes through to get through it & you come out the other side changed, more appreciative of those who were in the trenches with you, all of that. I would honestly say, allegorically that is, which when working in a kitchen, its as close to combat as one can be without actually BEING in combat (at least in my humble opinion.) The music does absolutely rock in this show no doubt and the secret inclusion of a well accomplished actor (at least, again, in my opinion) w/ regards to the leads' older brother, just awesome to see him in literally anything!
  15. Awesome night, both were really enjoyable films & it was a solid watch start to finish w/ amazing interviews to boot!
  16. Just picked up Brain Damage & Weird Science Arrow Blu Rays as well as Arrow's Tremors 4K release, all for $36!!!
  17. That IS sorta rude but I have been not only posting, but also creating threads, so that should have been evidence that it all worked out right? It was one of THE best experiences of my life for sure & cannot wait to go back in September when the trees are changing!
  18. Just finished the season and holy fucking wow what a hell of a show! Really hope that another season is greenlit (maybe even with a larger release having it come to FX directly?) Such an amazing cast & what a hell of a turn at the end. So very excited to see where this story goes next for sure!
  19. All 8 episodes are available now. I've gotten through the first 3, more than likely will end up watching all of what is looking to be a fantastic show, before the night is through. The pace is frenetic & chaotic & by doing so, really harnesses & hones the vibe of a TRUE kitchen. A lot of questions abound but they're there in the periphery, waiting to be plucked one at a time to be shone more light to the viewer & I appreciate that. Alright, back to the show!
