  1. Didn't know you were dealing with such personal issues @best3444, so very sorry to hear that. While Leon is absolutely in the right to forewarn you, personally speaking, there have been times when shows or films have really been cathartic for me to grieve & process trauma & loss, so hopefully there's a chance that this show may help you in that way as well. Whenever you do end up visiting it in its entirety, the thread will be here as will we all, eager to hear your thoughts & sentiments on it!
  2. Yeah commercials are a legit pain in the butt. Recently begun re-watching season 3 of "24" and seeing the time jumps for the "commercial breaks" just WOW how much time they ate up during the run of that show & I feel as though it's only gotten more egregious. As for last night, totally heart wrenching yet I've never seen a scene more brutally open & honest with a character in a very long time. Now we're in the BB timeline, more than likely a couple cameos amongst 3 separate scenes to drop next week, then 3 eps to go. More than likely, the finale will be Gene but possibly it's a 2-parter? That just leaves 1 episode in the air as for what it could possibly entail, who the hell even knows!?
  3. It blew my freaking MIND the first time I watched Die Hard with a Vengeance & Sam Jackson's Zeus was racist against whites. I was like "oh wow, that's a thing!?" Granted, I was like 13 or 14 when that came out so yeah.
  4. So you're saying the theater is run by family members of John Wayne Gacy?
  5. I've heard rumblings that Avatar in 4K will be out shortly before Avatar 2 releases. Hopefully with that, we'll get more of Cameron's works in 4K thereafter. That being said, let's hope he gives the green light to Katheryn Bigelow's works! Point Break, Near Dark, Strange Days all are amazing AF!! I think it was in The Last Drive-In season 3 where Joe Bob showed the original Little Shop of Horrors (one of, if not THE first Jack Nicholson film!!) which was amazing as hell.
  6. While we're at it, why not discuss "must have/favorites" that aren't YET available in 4K? I ask this as I'm currently enjoying one of THE all time great soundtracks in "The Crow" and I am still flummoxed over the fact that there hasn't been a boutique 4K release (hello Arrow/Scream/Shout Factory!!!) Granted, Harvey really screwed the pooch (and many others) so its all a rights issue thing I believe but hot damn if something truly spectacular couldn't come out of this amazing film in an ultra deluxe collector's edition.
  7. Between SDCC next week(end) & D23 shortly after, I feel as though we'll get a slightly clearer picture of where we are heading next.
  8. While season 4 will begin filming in August, we have a new spinoff series set in college titled "Gen V" greenlit for production
  9. Baby Colin reminds me of Aphex Twin's "Come to Daddy" creepy face kid/person/whatever the fuck that thing is! Very off putting & disconcerting but I kinda also love it for sure.
  10. Just finished watching "The John Wayne Gacy Tapes" on Netflix and oh my word, I lost track of the number of times I thought about Black Phone while watching that documentary.
  11. @Keyser_SozeI respect & love you but please, DO NOT besmirch the good name of What We Do in the Shadows with what seems to be about 25 years too late of a "film" take on a show from the early 60's that absolutely should have rode the coattails of The Addams Family films & been directed by a far more talented individual. I enjoyed White Zombie, still do even, and even some of Rob's solo work is solid on a music level. That said, aside from The Devil's Rejects and to a slightly lesser extent, House of 1000 Corpses, his filmography is not good at all really in my honest opinion. I mean sure, at least he tries, yet it also does seem to come through that monetarily speaking, he doesn't have a lot of assets with which to craft his films anymore simply because so many have been more or less DOA when released.
  12. IDK if this was all on the general board or something, but as a fellow animal lover & pet owner, I am beyond sorrowful for your combined loss, truly my deepest condolences to you both, I'm so very sorry.
  13. In another life, these two are still around! Man, just IMAGINE what the scene could have been like if Lalo had gotten his hands on Nacho!!
  14. I hope we get at least one Mike/Jimmy/Kim scene where they are all together in person!
  15. Also, to the best of my knowledge, we have 5 eps with 3 main questions remaining: What happens to Kim ultimately? How does Jimmy fully embrace Saul (with it comes the house etc.) How does Gene help himself after the (recast) cabbie spotted him?
  16. As someone who's watched the first 3 seasons weekly yet hasn't delved into season 4 at all yet, is it worth the week to week wait or should I just wait & binge the season as a whole?
  17. Just have to keep telling the same lie over & over. That won't take a toll on a persons soul (looking at you Kim.) Pretty sure you're right. As for the mid-season premiere, HOLY SHIT! I didn't know if they'd just jump forward to the Gene timeline or what they had planned, but not only dealing with the immediate fallout of the last episode but seemingly the next ep deals with the fallout of this one, solid stuff that. Sucks that Lalo's end was seemingly so early still in the season considering how many episodes remain but it all fit logically. Crying shame about Howard & Lalo buried together in a shallow grave, mere yards away from Walt & Jesse. As for that last question in the interview, regards to the fly, I wonder if the Walt/Jesse appearance will revisit that episode now with broader context? Also, the fact that it seems as though Jimmy will be telling Kim the same line of bullshit that Mike sold him, abhorrently atrocious to be sure, heartbreaking really.
