  1. Right about the same time frame here as well. Truly haven't visited IGN's boards (or really IGN as a whole) in years.
  2. Killing Them Softly was marketed as something it entirely was not. Pitt's role is sort of small really & Gandolfini killed it, I remember really loving it when I saw.
  3. Big fan of both Adrien & Bobby but OMFG! Ana is impeccable as Norma/Marilyn!! Truly had tears welling in my eyes watching that trailer, I FEEL for her so deeply in those moments. Like it isn't even the bias of "ERMAHGERD ITS ANA DE ARMAS!" but I felt like I was watching who she is portraying. Truly remarkable to be sure, can't wait to watch!
  4. So I'm at work thinking of all the possibilities and I can't shake something ... Granted, we have to wait until D23 to get a better sense of what's coming in the tail end of 2024 & what lays unrevealed in 2025, but still though the big culmination is the 1-2 punch of Kang Dynasty & Secret Wars to wrap up the Multiverse Saga. OK, great, and then what? Seems as though it would be a shrinking of the MCU thereafter. Granted, maybe this is yet another reason they will wait to fully reveal X-Men and a mass of mutants (possibly from another multiverse & they get sucked into the 616?) So that alone can reinvigorate some interest possibly, but I just feel that if they somehow finalize the Multiverse crutch (if you will) then what's there to stand on going forward?
  5. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn't able to see 'Nope' this past weekend, hopefully next weekend. Now I have to dodge spoilers until then, yikes!
  6. Hey, at least WE are both VERY passionate about this picture, and for that we should be grateful!
  7. At first I was all "Wait ... what are we doing here?" Then, by the end, I was SO invested in the "operation" to go off smoothly that I literally was holding my breath when the slip happened. I had a gut feeling Carol Burnett's role would be the cabbie's mom, IDK how or why I felt that but I did, glad to be proven correct on that.
  8. Didn't know that's the name of tonight's episode, very cool!!!
  9. JFC I didn't know I typed that much until I posted. My bad, spoiler tag for those who have a few minutes to read I suppose then.
  10. When Marine Veteran Brian Brown-Easley is denied support from Veterans Affairs, financially desperate and running out of options, he takes a bank and several of its employees' hostage, setting the stage for a tense confrontation with the police. Based on the true story.
  11. VKM retires while Danai & Andrew come out of retirement from the W.D. series ... what a news day its been!
  12. I was sold on the project as soon as it was announced, Jordan's works never disappoint. Shall be going to see it in IMAX Saturday afternoon!
  13. Thank you for such a succinct summation. Reading that, I kept thinking to myself "What would George Carlin have to say on not just this specific matter, but the whole of gender pronouns, etc.?" considering his love & affinity FOR language.
  14. While I never learned Spanish, I do recall French rather well & understand that a lot of basics are based in "La" or "Le". Yeah still not entirely sure why that should be debatable, its basic fundamental understanding when trying to learn a new language.
  15. Who's that dude with the eye patch!? Solid Snake confirmed? Seriously though, god fucking dammit HBO you got me invested & caring in the GoT IP again ... please for all that is good & sacred, DO NOT LET ME DOWN!
  16. I genuinely put Halloween Kills just above Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 and yet below Halloween Resurrection. I don't have high hopes for this (nor do I have hopes for the Exorcist trilogy they intend on doing next) however I'll still go to theaters to see it with friends because hey, it's tradition to consume as much horror as possible in October right?
  17. So just to confirm, this is a 1 year exclusive for Sony then will release to other platforms after right?
  18. This show does SUCH an incredible job introducing new characters who keep recurring & solidify themselves into the fabric of what continues to make WWDitS so damn awesome! Be it the elder Vampire from the old world in S1, the creepy doll, or even the guide. Not to mention all the ancillary, sometimes even one-off characters that just help color in so much more of the show as a whole.
