SoberChef replied to 69los's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Just a friendly heads up, this film will release on Peacock day & date on Oct. 14th! -
I have been eagerly, anxiously, excitedly awaiting this final trailer as when it would arrive would declare when the release would happen. The trailer doesn't disappoint whatsoever & I am beyond stoked to see my favorite serial killing clown who goes by the name Art, to return to terrorize & viscerally eviscerate his victims once more! If you want to be kept in the loop for when tickets go on sale, click here to sign up! Spooky season is most assuredly upon us all!!!

Movies Orphan First Kill on Paramount +
SoberChef replied to DarkStar189's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
DeadMeat just did a kill count on the first flick a couple weeks back which was a fun watch. I haven't, as of yet, watched the original but it seems like its a modern cult classic, so I'll need to rectify that come closer to the fall I feel, maybe sooner though considering this just dropped. -
Five Guys is the motherfuckin' shit! I will legit fight people over that! Don't even come at me with In n Out, because ffs they don't even offer BACON for their burgers.

B-Dubs ain't bad so long as I'm in the mood for it & I hope that it strikes me on either a Tuesday or Thursday for BOGO wings because gawd dayum those wing prices are insane! That said however, I do prefer more traditional Mexican fare or southeast Asian cuisines, when it comes to my palate, I lean more towards small businesses that do a few things REALLY well on their respective menus.

Vinegar Syndrome SummerFest Sale begins at midnight EST “Throughout the sale, nearly 200 VS and Peekarama releases will be marked down to 50% off SRP! The films selected represent a sampling of titles for which the film elements (ranging from camera negatives to only known prints) are vaulted in our archives. As many of you know, VS was founded not just to release genre films, but to find and preserve their original film materials, with an emphasis on saving the types of works most often endangered. This mission is still the driving force behind VS, and our efforts to protect cinema history is stronger than ever, with newly recovered materials arriving at our archives each month to be preserved. “In addition, at the opening of the sale, we’ll be unveiling our next duo of Peekarama releases, one a UHD upgrading of a classic double feature from one of the genre’s most celebrated directors and starring one of his favorite leading ladies, and the other the world Blu-ray debut of a star-studded classic from an equal parts legendary and notorious hardcore auteur. Plus, two of our favorite Peekarama releases will be receiving newly designed Catalog Slipcovers! “We’ve also prepared one of our best and most entertaining VSA’s to date; a southern-shot 80s actioner that’s non-stop fun from start to end and is making its world Blu-ray debut! “Also, several of the incredible artists with whom we work with have created new posters, shirt designs, and more, including an original take on the artwork for a VS classic dating back to our earliest days of DVD. “As with all of our sales, the “Add to my existing sale order” FREE shipping option will be enabled. Also, if you have already placed a pre-order this month, you can use this free shipping option to combine any additional sale orders with your existing pre-order. And for our Subscribers, you already know what to do!”

Books What Are You Reading or Listening To?
SoberChef replied to rc0101's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Finally got around to just now finishing up the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood ..." novella which was a hell of a fun read (more so if you're a big fan of the film!) Next up is to finish Tom Segura's "I Like to Play Alone Please" & then crack open Danny Trejo's autobiography that recently released. -
Since T.K.'s purchase of ROH, there's been rumors & murmurs about an HBOMax deal for ROH. Not entirely sure how much heat there is to that potential fire, but its intriguing to think about. Considering the fact that between RAW, Smackdown, & Dynamite typically being within the top 3-5 in their respective time slots on cable currently, seems like a rather large blow to the networks if they were to lose these programs to a streaming service. Add to it the current contracts therein, that's a lot to unpack for sure. I do enjoy the thought of AEW/ROH PPVs being on a streamer ala WWE & Peacock as that $50 chunk is a bit of a hit in the current state of our economy. Thanks for the heads up though @RemarkableriotsI'll be keeping tabs here & on the lookout for more news/rumblings regarding this.
