Cooper is a sensational director in whose work I have never been let down nor disappointed. Between Out of the Furnace & Antlers alone I'd have to pledge that this film will be another banger in their respective filmographies.

IMHO the best Transformers trailer I have ever seen and looks to be as good as the original.

Watched the trailer and immediately thought of this being something on "USA: Up All Night"!! 🤣🤣🤣 That said however, I wouldn't be opposed to watching it.

Genuinely hadn't a care in the world for this until the new trailer and yeah, I'd definitely go see that if not for anything more than nostalgia bait ... yet I cannot help myself somehow.

Hands down THE best Star Wars show made as of yet. THIS is the type of storytelling I'd love more of.

It actually was pretty solid & decent of an ending. Sets up the 3 spin offs of course but many if not most of the main cast get fairly happy endings.

In terms of my collection, I really only kept a handful of Spidey & X-Men titles from the 80's & 90's (full runs Web & Spectacular Spider-Man as well as G.I. Joe A Real American Hero!) It wasn't until around the Geoff Johns Green Lantern run I began collecting for a few years again thereafter with my tastes veering more towards Image/IDW than anything.

Didn't happen across a current ongoing thread so figured I'd just post here instead. Alas, at long last, we have reached the end of the road for the OG series. What a fucking run all told. Granted, I kinda lost interest in the ensuing Negan communities war & the skinwalker storyline but I kept my fingers on the pulse of the show. To see that it is truly over now and that all we will really get going forward will be limited run series (aside from Fear the Walking Dead), it's the end of an era that really began just as what Robert Meyer Burnett calls the "Post-Geek Singularity". Time really can be a cruel bitch.

I just utilize my Series X for 4K playback. I know there are dedicated players but spending an additional $500 on a "single use item" just strikes me as a bit absurd in a way. For those curious as to the "single use item" phrase, if you know Alton Brown's kitchen philosophy, then you'll get it!
