  1. I appreciate your list @IdeaOfEvilbut the one thing that sticks out is your take on Midnight Meat Train being awful (!!!???) ... I'd love to hear you talk more in depth about what you didn't appreciate about that film?
  2. Also, a gleeful Easter egg was the television playing scenes from 'The Raid', LOVED IT!
  3. Jesus H. Bloody Fucking Christ in Hell! Seriously, I need season 3 like fucking NOW! Sad to say that I was right about THAT certain character, he grew on me & I shall mourn him after his untimely & rather horrendously grotesque way to leave this realm of existence. The end scene, that smile I felt as though was sort of "us the viewer" seeing that character in that position & all he has had to do to get there, just bloody fucking brilliant! This show, my god! As I was watching I thought to myself "Right! The whole of the 1st season is establishing key players, ancillary interactions, the rules of engagement if you will, et al." Yet this second season REALLY has allowed those that have survived thus far (JFC AT THAT SURPRISE AT THE END!!) to showcase motivations, chess moves, cat & mouse antics, raising of stakes to the highest levels, all on a grounded level with outrageous violence at the drop of a hat all played by actors who really seem to be giving it their all to make you truly feel & care. I'm genuinely torn between this second season of this show & Andor season 1 as to which was my favorite season of television this year!!
  4. Don't feel bad, I didn't fully watch the series until around about 5 or so years ago as well, enjoy!
  5. Remember how a few of us feared that comics as a whole were potentially going to be under attack after the Rock/Smith incident? I'd be OK with someone doing far worse than a slap on this POS!
  6. Watching an interview w/ Daniel & it was spoken about that he had shot a Belvedere Vodka commercial w/ Taika Waititi as the director ... and thus I feel obligated to share it with you all:
  7. I didn't hate the new Hellraiser actually, just didn't hit my list. Watched 'Glass Onion' over the holiday weekend & while genuinely quite good, not as good as the first & doesn't quite nudge its way into the top 10.
  8. I genuinely am not a fan, morally speaking, that I have this habit that was more or less instilled in me since my youth. Back then we always joked my mom got 2 Christmas' because half of what my dad would get her she would end up returning and exchanging for things she wanted. Since then, now well into adult life, I always end up snagging shit off my wishlists that I didn't get, and I genuinely cannot even say why I do it other than pithy excuse.
  9. Always really triggered my imagination whenever Clayface appeared in Batman TAS. To see that character brought to life on screen alongside his tragic backstory, yeah that would be awesome as hell!
  10. Yeah for some reason everyone has TCM released in 2022 but I am pretty sure it had released end of December last year on Netflix I thought!? *EDIT* Just looked it up, nope it was in February of this year apparently. I personally didn't HATE it as we FINALLY had an actual chainsaw massacre in this franchise!!
  11. Boston Brand aka Deadman (I see him as an entity lurking & watching events unfold throughout the new DCU slate at first before a proper full introduction.) Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow Kyle Raynar's Green Lantern but also the whole of the light spectrum of Lantern forces (emphasis on Dexx-starr w/ bonus points showcasing his origins.) Deathstroke v. Batman on film. Plastic Man!!!
  12. So in other words, no wonder he chose this project!? Joking of course yet there is more than a few ounces of truth to that comment let's be honest. The premise looks good, may end up waiting on WOM to decide if I go see it in theaters.
  13. Was anyone else aware of the fact that this film will be presented in 4:3 aspect ratio?
  14. Still need to watch The Whale & Glass Onion here so they may work their way into the list yet.
  15. Shocked to see this hasn't already been made so why not now? I've been racking my head as to what to do about my personal top 10 so I pulled up a site that lists in order every film released this year & my list below is more of what made it as opposed to an official ranking as that is just asking far too much of someone who isn't an official critic. Top 10 2022: The Batman Avatar: Way of Water The Menu X/Pearl (I consider them 2 parts a of a 3 act whole) Everything Everywhere All at Once Terrifier 2 Banshees of Inisherin Bullet Train Top Gun Maverick Watcher Notable Mentions: The Northman Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent Nope Prey
  16. Recently began playing again (thank you for existing GamePass!) and damn this is such a fun game to pick up & play, feel bad I hadn't hopped on the Horizon bandwagon prior to this entry.
  17. Had actually put on Black Adam over the weekend on HBOMax and got about an hour into it before I tapped out, just wasn't holding my interest whatsoever.
  18. I had heard about this having aired during Cinema Con back in April ... freaking WOW this man is insane & I love him for it!
  19. The Invincible news drought is nearing its end, with the animated superhero series teasing a major Season 2 announcement at the start of 2023.
  20. JFC those two letters killed me. Hell of a great show tonight, arguably the BEST yet! Really hope that the show, the cast, & the crew are all going to be alright with what AMC is doing to their staff.
  21. Been a fun night so far, some amazing goodies yo bid on for really well thought out charities as well. Enjoying both films as I hadn't seen either before tonight, so good times to be had while stuck in the office!!
