  1. After 2007s Grindhouse Double Feature, Eli's Thanksgiving is finally going to get made!
  2. Funny how paper cuts and not an actual shit in a fishbowl as a helmet w/ a hose attached to savor the scent in all its glory, is what sends us off the edge. Really, with Terrifier 2's bedroom scene, regardless of all that Art does to poor Allie, its the salt & bleach at the end that made me wince the most!
  3. Honestly did not have a clue that this was a thing until watching Taylor Sheridan's 'Wind River' and WOW talk about gut wrenching! Truly horrific that it is so commonplace & life can be so just disregarded because you happen to be Native, it's awful & I am glad to see legislation like this get pushed through, let's hope for a more national line of help going forward. Essentially today's version of a car alarm in a packed mall lot in the 90's & early 00's. Perpetual night owl here!
  4. Hey @TheLeonhow was it? Hearing a lot of positive things as well as the humor that's in it is rather funny (unsure if genuine humor or dark/black comedy.)
  5. Vince is egregiously ego-maniacal, like listen guy just rest on your laurels, enjoy the 80% stock options paying out monthly, and just steer clear of the industry as a whole. Nobody wants nor needs you anymore, thank you for all the supposed good you brought to the sport but your time has gone now, go away!
  6. Granted, yes abso-fucking-lutely! Yet, would you say that is more disturbing than the electric knife arm cutting scene or really a lot of other moments from Fede's remake? Evil Dead has always had body horror elements within the possessions, that said I'm cringing right now as I type this thinking of the sound design and what flesh would look like being grated in such fashion.
  7. Ok now THAT you have got to speak on in the context of having seen all of BCS BEFORE Breaking Bad. I'm kind of jealous of your experience & viewpoint through that lens! Having all that knowledge of Saul, Mike, Gus, etc. How did that play & inform moments & scenes when viewing BB after the fact?
  8. Being a fan of 'Night of the Lepus' & '8-Legged Freaks', this is right up my alley!! *EDIT* Let's hope that if this project does well, we get a new Blob remake!
  9. I had seen the teaser a while back and this looks like a funny time tackling an interesting topic from a new viewpoint in my opinion.
  10. Onto 'Better Call Saul' next then? (he said secretly hoping you do & find it as immensely enjoyable)
  11. So unbelievably done with all this Miller bullshit, fire the cunt, arrest & convict him, eat the loss and continue to wipe the DC slate and start fresh. At this point, what is even worth saving?
  12. Funny you ask this as this past weekend I in fact did buy this DLC (for a title I 'own' via through Game Pass) & it wasn't until after I buy it in game that I see there was a Gold deal with both Forza Horizon 4 AND 5 gold editions w/ all DLC for less than the DLC I just got for FH5 solely, so just be aware! As for the content itself, when it was downloaded & went to boot up ... it crashed the game and I haven't revisited it since
  13. Being a massive fan of both the original 3 films and also Fede's 2013 re-imagining was stellar work, so this is a pleasure to see as it had initially been planned as a streaming series which now will be a theatrical experience! Here's to 2023 continuing the trend of horror killing it in the box office! Between this, Scream 6, Maxxxine, a few others that *SHOULD* arrive by the end of the year, it'll be another solid year no doubt about it!
  14. My mom also has a prosthesis on her leg, so my thoughts immediately went there with Jeremy, although I hope he doesn't have to endure such trauma.
  15. Went & saw this with my best bud yesterday, was just the two of us in the theater so we got to just vibe out with this ginormous film. It is definitely a piece of art meant to be seen in a theater for sure. I got from it a feel of 'Boogie Nights' in a way, mourning the loss of cinema as it was known to be a certain way and losing oneself when attempting to transition to a new modernity. It was also a bit of an allegory for life turning on you and how your reaction dictates your fate. The music throughout was a standout and while you can always say that the camera loves Margot, here the camera makes love to a tragedy caught in a cyclone of insanity. Perhaps her best performance I have seen of her actually.
  16. Considering I quit smoking 3 months ago after 30 years AND I love just about 40 lbs this past year, not really sure what my intentions for the coming year are quite yet.
