Watching Fatman/Blackman Beyond hosted by Marc Bernardin w/ guest Tiffany Smith & she says she has no idea where the story is going but she's all aboard for it. This has to be the same sentiment SO many others who haven't played the games, nor have any context for what transpires, that so many have watching this show & it has me joyfully giddy.

Not sure if you heard but Avatar Way of Water will have a 4K 3D release. Sucks when that happens, my Platoon & Django 4Ks, the packaging was damaged to the point the cases were broken, pisses me off. Whole not a fan of the 3rd, the first two are solid. Hows that collection look and sound and how are the extras? Sorry to hear about your father's passing but at least you have a token, an emotional touchstone in which to keep his memory alive & that's beautiful!

@Emblazondid you end up getting that Terrifier 2 set? Recently on a whim I picked up both X-Men First Class & Days of Future Past on 4K as well as Speed 4K all for free using points on Amazon, they & the new Zach Snyder/James Gunn Dawn of the Dead 4K should arrive by end of the week. I also ordered on BB the 3:10 to Yuma 4K steelbook as well as pre-ordered the steelbook 4K of Training Day. Anyone else recently pick up anything they cherish in the physical media space?

Then let's make this the official thread!! A Batman film in October needs to be a thing since we were robbed of it last go around. -
Movies The James Gunn's The DC Cinematic The Universe

Utilizing Morrison's Brave & the Bold run as the template for a true Batman & Robin film will be amazing AF! The Lanterns series, in vein of True Detective while being space cops is cool as hell & I am so on board. That opening animated series has an intriguing art style to be sure so that's on my radar as is the Themyscira series. I have faith in Gunn until proven wrong, so I have faith for now. -

I couldn't agree more with every syllable of this sentiment. Truly an end of an era & I'm officially in mourning. -
Was seeing from coworkers of hers on one of the new Trek shows wherein she plays the Borg Queen (strange, thought that character died in First Contact but I digress as I don't watch) ... all those hours in the makeup chair and never a word of complaint all while going through the treatments and such, so strong & brave to the end was Annie.

There have been talks of stretching TLoU2 into 2 seasons considering how that story was told. I wouldn't be opposed to it then & it would help flesh out more of Ellie's trek from Montana to Washington this way, flesh out the ancillary characters more as well. Add to that the fact that say within the next 3ish years, we very well could have another entry into the series & it's definitely 50/50 that they very well could be developing those season(s) alongside production of the game.

General Gaming What are your gaming "oh shit" moments
SoberChef replied to Fizzzzle's topic in The Spawn Point
That very first x-ray testicle shot from 500+ yards out in any Sniper Elite game. The entire Sniper Wolf segment in MGS. Revisiting Shadow Moses in MGS4. "Would You Kindly" was a hell of a mind fuck! The whole carrot & stick element the first time you finish a castle only to be told the Princess is somewhere else. Firing up Forza Motorsport on my XBX! -
Movies Infinity Pool Trailer Goth, Cronenberg, SkarsgĂĄrd
SoberChef replied to SimpleG's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
While staying at an isolated island resort, James (Alexander SkarsgĂĄrd) and Em (Cleopatra Coleman) are enjoying a perfect vacation of pristine beaches, exceptional staff, and soaking up the sun. But guided by the seductive and mysterious Gabi (Mia Goth), they venture outside the resort grounds and find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism, and untold horror. A tragic accident leaves them facing a zero tolerance policy for crime: either you'll be executed, or, if you're rich enough to afford it, you can watch yourself die instead.
