  1. The Guardians as we have come to know them will be no more after this so technically they're all on the table, I'm excited yet also worried beyond belief!
  2. At least the wedding went off great haha! Honestly, ended up pulling the hat over my eyes during the cat scene in the 2nd film & proceeded to fall away into slumber until just after 3a, then I watched the new Last of Us episode afterwards which was equally fantastic! Now comes the wait for the new season, hopefully within a couple months time.
  3. Genuinely though, I feel as though D1P (formerly known as Bad Cartridge - RIP ) has become by leaps & bounds, a far better communal space to spend time.
  4. Kinda crazy to see this little corner pocket of the DCU come to its close after such a long run (nearly 10 years!) While I may have checked out seasons ago, still sad to see it depart.
  5. Love that reaction to season 2 @CastlevaniaNut18! Much like Greatones said, keep us updated for sure.
  6. So I have to share this video as it's someone who's extensively worked in the industry and has numerous little adages on the sides to further elevate & explain the intricacies in the dishes, just sublimely superb!
  7. I've watched the first two episodes & this show isn't what I had in my head for it to be. Really solid storytelling, great supporting casts, yeah I'm in on this for sure!
  8. Personally, while the audio/cinephile I am does enjoy being dead smack in the middle of the middle row, I actually now use that spot more so to utilize the metal bar to put my feet on to alleviate back pain. I still go to my local Marcus theater chain every now & then as their experience is a hell of a lot of fun, albeit slightly higher pricing. In all seriousness, major movie theater chains need to incorporate alcohol sales into their offerings, they'll earn more money back that way.
  9. So a little update, ended up having to completely delete the game & files from my hard drives & re-install them, now I'm playing the Hot Wheels DLC & loving it!
  10. Of all the times for a theater chain to essentially shoot themselves in the proverbial foot, THIS is the way to accomplish that goal you innate moronic greed laden cunts. Your industry is reeling & doing all it can to maintain a foothold in the entertainment space and you decide this is a good idea?
  11. Morally, yes that Flash movie should absolutely be shelved based on the principle that the lead has done serious harm to the brand, character, himself, the studio, and let's not even begin to bring up those directly impacted by his selfish actions. That being said, Hollywood has never been morally good & because greed is king, the film was already shot (yes I know they did more reshoots) and the post-production is essentially complete, then why not just toss it out & use it as a tool to enact the change necessary to move forward. It's a tricky, sticky mess & a hell of a tight rope, best of luck on that & glad it isn't my headache.
  12. Really hate that I have to wait to watch the next episode as I already have a date w/ Joe Bob Brigg's in Vegas that evening! Going to be tricky avoiding spoilers while still interacting on the trending hashtags for the other show I'll be engaged in during that airing.
  13. Not voting as it depends on my mood & where I'm at. Legit, I sit at home IDGAF, its comfy. Anywhere else, I'm absolutely standing!
  14. So what I'm hearing is that I should not only read the novel but seek out the previous two entries of film adaptation to get a better product? Because I personally loved this film yet without a comparison, I'm not in the know about what was messed up or what was swapped out.
  15. Recent interview w/ Colin has him stating that not only is the Penguin series getting ready to begin shooting end of this month, but that it is set to be an 8 episode series with the first episode taking place about a week after The Batman, and as it goes, the trajectory of Penguin's rise in the underworld of Gotham, that by Batman 2, we'll be dovetailing out of the series into that next film, which is exciting to be sure.
  16. I'll be more anxious for the game to be over with so that I can watch the next episode of The Last of Us!
  17. Lately I'll watch Jake in anything he does as he's been killing it! Guy's flicks are almost always a phenomenal watch & his last two films (The Gentleman & Wrath of Man) have both been total bangers. The premise, the cast, yeah sign me up for this. Wasn't even aware we would be gifted with another Ritchie film this year, so such a pleasant surprise to be had.
  18. I mean ultimately, WB & DC have a movie to promote when it comes time to do so. Were I to guess, they will have Ezra out minimally at best for interviews/press events & sometime shortly after its release (within a month lets say), they'll have an official announcement about either Miller being let go officially and/or new casting. They also very well COULD opt to not have Barry Allen in the DCU but instead have it be Wally West perhaps?
  19. It’s a new year, which means a new slate of holiday specials from horror host Joe Bob Briggs and “The Last Drive-in” on Shudder. Up first is the brand new Valentine’s Day Special, “Joe Bob’s Vicious Vegas Valentine.” What pairs better with matrimony than monsters? Joe Bob Briggs, Darcy the Mail Girl, and “The Last Drive-in” crew aim to deliver the biggest special yet by leaving behind the trailer part and taking the wedding capital of the world by storm. In addition to a horror double feature centered around “nasty love stories,” the legendary horror host will also officiate the wedding of two fans on-air! “During this year’s demented double feature, I’ll be joining in unholy matrimony two young lovers thoroughly schooled in the twisted tenets of The Last Drive-In. And I’ll probably need an Elvis jumpsuit to do it,” Briggs said. The horror host took to Twitter earlier to tease that the couple set to walk down the aisle during the special approved one of the movies for their wedding. “Joe Bob’s Vicious Vegas Valentine” debuts on Friday, February 10, live on the Shudder TV feed at 9:00 pm EST. Fans can also watch on demand on Shudder and AMC+ beginning Sunday, February 12, 2023. Check out the trailer for the upcoming special below.
  20. One concern I keep hearing is what about those who either: A. Travel regularly & for long periods of time. B. Those that utilize a VPN to access movies available in other regions (will this even still be allowed to be a thing at all?)
  21. To be fair, I was never a fan of the show when it aired, an ex used to fall asleep to reruns of this on all the time (one of many reasons why that ended), so then I come to the video I shared, and from what I remember, it's still fairly on brand w/ the dry loathsome "humor". That said, curious to know whether or not John Laroquette got paid in cocaine for this role too?
