  1. So this was, in my humble opinion, better in many ways than the last. Still hard to get over *THAT* one particular quirky trait our co-lead deals with but aside from that, a solid entry into the series that abso-fucking-lutely does things a lot different here. Hayden rocks for sure & it's so nice to see her back & where she's at. The bodega scene is intense, and the ... let's just say that Ghostface is more ferocious than he's ever been & for good reason.
  2. I hear that the Hotel Transylvania flicks are fun. I just got the Dazed & Confused Criterion 4K for the low price of merely $0.06!!! (Thanks Amazon rewards & also aiding me in obtaining Return of the Living Dead for free as well!) There's the first big Criterion sale coming up soon just as a heads up for everyone. (Essentially all titles are half off during these.)
  3. It's reasons like these that I am not entirely against TikTok being run by the Chinese government & taking out stupid Americans.
  4. A talented young street-food cook pushes herself to the limit after accepting an invitation to train under an infamous and ruthless chef.
  5. Also, can @Remarkableriotschange the title to something like the official Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning thread or something? Makes sense right?
  6. In all seriousness, 147 minutes (2.5 hours) isn't that long for a film, let alone one in a long running franchise that is the first of two parts to conclude THIS version of the franchise.
  7. Thin Red Line is one of those films you almost have to be of a certain age to appreciate, as I too watched when it was first out & I was but in my early 20s, having seen it recently, it's a whole other experience & meticulous in its intention to discover quiet moments of peace & calm in life (at least that's what I got out of it.) As for Master & Commander, genuinely have loved this film since first seeing it in theaters all those years ago. I continue to be hopeful that perhaps Criterion will give this film its fair due & provide a sensational 4K alongside a slew of new supplemental materials & interviews & commentaries even. Nearly always throw this on whenever I'm channel surfing & see it on, I can jump in at any point in this film & be completely at peace.
  8. Why in the world has nobody told me about UmamiCart.com!? SHAME ON YOU ALL!
  9. This is an interesting question for those watching the show, will you tune into the show's finale OR the Oscars? Personally, I'll probably DVR the awards show & catch up afterwards.
  10. Cannot help but wonder IF we will see Abby in the background of a shot perhaps much like the cafeteria scene from episode 7. Guessing AEW: Revolution? Such a phenomenal PPV (not a great build, but arguably top tier in all of their PPVs so far with regards to the matches themselves.) That Danielson/MJF Iron Man Match, possibly the best I ever seen!
  11. Seeing as Perri is a MASSIVE fan of the franchise as a whole, of course her review is biased inherently, yet she goes into just why it's as good as others are already stating - it is a spoiler free review as well so fret not! Personally, I may very well go Thursday evening to see it locally if not for any other reason so as not to have the identity spoiled for me.
  12. That's right, the last season no less. Maybe I should finally getting around to watching that show ahead of the final season, hmmm.
  13. Wow, nobody here is a fan of the Scream franchise?
  14. Is there a show airing on Sunday's between the end of TLoU & the start of this final season?
  15. While it's set up to be a shade over $350/month for a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (fully loaded) & I pay $400 each month anyways ... this is unreal!
  16. @silentbobso wait just how fast was that shipping exactly? Seeing that domestically they cannot even do 2 day anymore (in case anyone didn't realize!)
  17. I mean I know it's another in the March of creeping death imminently approaching so many we love in the coming years, but in a certain way I held Tom to a different caliber and level. All the smack that can be spoken about 'Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man' that has been spoken. Nobody has eve4 said a bad word about Tom's role as Chance Wilder, in this reality of the world, isn't portrayed awesomely! It's this portrayal that aided in him achieving so many other iconic roles, including his uncredited cameo in 'Point Break' (Fast & Furious franchise can thank its existence on this film), as well as his role as Max in 'Strange Days' that, without his own greedy actions taking advantage of a messy situation, the entire film wouldn't take place (including quite possibly THE most disturbing rape scene on film), his work has always elevated everything he's ever been involved with. I watched him in that Dr. Drew show because I was always invested in his life story. I hate his demons as much as either he hated his own, nor I hate my own. I love, admire, and adore him for those shared struggles and harsh times. If he's at peace, then I am happy for him. He'll always be cherished in my head and heart.
