If you've never seen 'Alive', this looks even more harrowing. Gut wrenching story for sure.

So I made a killer chicky nude soup. Dry brined my bone in thighs (skins removed by hand ... we'll get to that!) for about a day-day & a half. Then seared them off in a bit of chicken schmaltz I had reserved (again, get more into this later). After browning the protein, pull & let chill while I sauteed a 2lb bag of tiny taters which I quartered in more schmaltz w/ a touch of bacon fat as well. Then in when the celery/onions/carrots, 12 quarts of broth, put the thighs back in and set to LOW & allow the soup to gradually come up to a simmer, at this time you can then pull the chicken out to allow to cool & then shred off the bone. As for the skin/schmaltz, I essentially make "chicken bacon" with the thigh skins. Season however you like, put onto a sheet tray w/ a rack & I cooked it at 325 for nearly an hour turning every 15 or so minutes. Then I cooked off some tri-color tortellini & medium shells, tossed those in olive oil, parmesean cheese, scallions & fresh parsley, as well as the diced up chicken "bacon". Put the noods in the bowl, serve the soup atop, voila!

So this ultimately ended up being pretty much what I anticipated in terms of tone/setting etc. Straight up, it looks fantastic for a GTA title & the thus far $2B+ spent on development seems to be all right there. Also, not surprised by the 2025 release, I do believe however that a recent earnings call did illuminate that Take Two is anticipating a Q4 2024 influx of cash, which would theoretically mean that GTA6 will be out by March 31st, 2025. (Let's be honest, it's getting pushed.)

Justin Long's veneers and eyes creep me TF out! Just watched on Saturday & it was alright.

So I more or less just got done updating my physical media specific wishlist on Amazon, I have roughly 50+ titles in there currently. I'm both ashamed there's so many, and also appalled that there's so few! For the rest of you, IF you happen to have a similar list, how big is it? *EDIT* Also, quick update after having hooked up my Panasonic UB820 - I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT! The video & audio is so significantly improved thus far, plus the features & settings within to go along all that I have w/ my LGB6 & Denon X1300 (yes I know, need to upgrade them), I truly don't believe I have had better viewing experiences with what I've popped in so far. I really feel I got away with a steal having paid only $350 for this. The main downside for the time being until I can upgrade my receiver & TV, is that I only have one eARC input for the TV in which the HDMI is already plugged into that from my 4K eARC out of my receiver, so in turn I have to pass the audio from the player, to the receiver, to the TV instead of two separate dedicated HDMI's. It'll do for now, but alas the curse of having such a hobby, is that it is never actually "COMPLETE".

I have heard that the recent season or whatever of Infinite is pretty solid & the community is pretty happy, so that's great! Meanwhile, GTA6 won't be out until what, May 2024 at the earliest (may even have such a date attached to the trailer) HOWEVER, we all know that whatever the initial announced date will be, it'll inevitably be pushed out an additional 6 months. Also, remember, IF they announce single player DLC, just ignore that like Take Two did after the last GTA launched.
