What's wild is, in either season 2 or 3, when the other African sheriff that was on the take w/ the club got shot as he was trying to help out Opie, that "woman of the night" was named Venus as well I believe. Not sure if coincidence or not but hey, either way, the role & character really come into their own & being mirrored by Tig of all the guys, yeah you're going to really dig it.

Yeah, while the B stories were a bit all over the place in the last couple seasons, having Jimmy Smits a part of the cast really helped it evolve & elevate itself in terms of acting quality for sure. I was just wondering if you'd been watching, nice to see the update!

Considering the subject matter & what it's trying to relay (in my opinion, it's screaming at us that IF we continue down the path we are currently on, this IS a highly potential future of sorts), pretty sure feeling gross is a good compliment.

Not to be that guy, but I can't help but notice we've lost A LOT of tremendous actors in the last couple few years who happen to be of a darker persuasion. I'm not saying conspiracy, just saying we are missing A LOT of tremendous actors who happen to have a darker complexion as of late. Oh man it was just his birthday on the 11th no less. I have to say, his role in City of Angels alongside Nick Cage, I mean he's always been a hell of a supporting actor but damn he really killed it in that film emotionally for me.
