While I hear what you're saying, she has come a long fucking way in her battle from opiates and is more or less adamant to not receive any.

So snafu on that considering my wife is in recovery from opiate addiction. Because of that & how extraordinarily over the top the NYS heathcare system is, she's flagged constantly. So with regards to pain management, at best it's naproxen or tizanidine.

So just sorta need to vent a bit. Had an appointment a few weeks back with a new Gastroenterologist & it'll be the same rigamarole as before. Put forth the order for botox injections into the bottom sphincter of her stomach, IF insurance decides to cover it for this being the 3rd time now it's been recommended & by a 2nd medical professional. That being said, it's more than likely it won't work (numbers scream this). I did post on a Gastroparesis subreddit & got some feedback, the best part being a recommendation to a Facebook group over 40K members strong all suffering from GP, so at least my wife is getting some communal help there. I continue to struggle day to day seeing my beloved so in pain & in such suffering. It eats away at me mentally, emotionally, spiritually. I have a hard time focusing or concentrating at work even as I'm often either having my heart & head w/ her, or just so deflated from it all (especially this time of year) that I just don't have the energy. Then there's the dark part of me, the one that never ever wants to just shut the fuck up, about how I'll be trading one woman (mom) for another (wife) who's life isn't up to par, unable to fully care for themselves, etc. which in turn makes me feel trapped, paranoid, resentful, angry, ... all these emotions to which I just continue to bottle up which I know full well is NOT healthy whatsoever either. Going back to that last appointment, it was there that the full brunt of reality set in for my wife to realize this is a life long thing now (or at least until who the fuck knows when). FUCK I am so over 2023 yet this is just the first in a long number of years to be here for her and the toll it takes on both of us. I just wanna bawl as I write this, probably why I need SOMEWHERE to let this all out. Thanks for being here D1P.

Speaking of underwear, legitimately, MeUndies are THE most comfortable boxer briefs I have ever worn.

Big fan of the Chef's Kiss for sure, but honestly, my PFP would be great as well as an automatic response to inane question threads perhaps?

I don't typically as I have a really awesome 7.1 setup. I use the headphones more for when I'm walking, out shopping, or even reading. Had some Sony's that lasted me a good decade or so but they broke, and it was kismet that these Sennheiser's were so ridiculously reduced.

So who, if anyone, got anything fun for physical media gifts? My haul this year as follows: Oppenheimer 4K George Carlin full stand up collection All Quiet on the Western Front 4K (Netflix version - I enjoy it) A History of Violence Blu-Ray (dammit Cronenberg, why isn't this on 4K!?) Scream 3 Steelbook 4K Pitch Black 4K Schindler's List 4K Bridge on the River Kwai 4K The Warriors 4K Collector's Edition Batman: Mask of the Phantasm 4K Tremors 2 4K Collector's Edition All in all, ZERO complaints here! Hope you all have a merry holiday season!

Merry Xmas Best! I got these amazing Sennheiser wireless headphones (HD-458BT) as they were on a huge discount over the holiday shopping season. Snagged another roughly 10ish titles to add to my physical media collection, I had received this groovy skull decanter, but it was built backwards, so that'll have to be returned. I'm just happy I was able to snag my wife a 3oz bottle of YSL Black Opium as that smells sinsational!

Movies A24's 'Iron Claw' - Von Erich Biopic

WHAT. A. FILM! I'm still reeling from my watching experience yesterday. Went with two good friends of mine who have maybe a bare bones knowledge of anything wrestling, yet they connected to this so well. Astonishingly harrowing at times to be sure, and I now get why they opted out of having one brother further showcased because ... well just be sure to take your SSRI's before going into this flick. I did my best but I was a sobbing freaking mess (with VERY good reason considering the what/how of a certain scene plays out.) All fucking heart this one. Legitimately, this is a family picture first, that happens to have wrestling as the background. Also, yeah that Flair cosplayer is cringe AF! -
Movies Scream VI - March 10, 2023

Please FFS let this franchise be shelved for like a decade & then start fresh. IDK who exactly was responsible for the astronomical fuck up that imploded this whole franchise, but JFC someone needs to seriously lose their job & never work in Hollywood again after such a disaster. -
So I just got done watching 2003's 'Identity' starring Ray Liotta, John Cusack, Amanda Peet, John Hawkes (love this guy), Alfred Molina, John C. McGinley ... so many others to boot. Fun ride & the method in which the story gets told is intriguing as well. Solid acting all around, enjoyable twist at the end, overall a fun ride & highly recommend checking it out. Side note: Amanda Peet, whom I miss & don't see her in much anymore unfortunately, is even more unfortunately married to David Benioff ... and I still haven't forgiven that guy.

What's a story you have that people wouldn't believe?

As a fellow multiple partner lover, yeah I don't know what the issue is whether its MMF or MFF, it's always a great time to be had if not by more than that. Here's a diddy of tale. Walked home after a hell of a night at the bar, had on a long sleeve shirt underneath a button down shirt. Amidst the journey across the whole of the town, ended up climbing a chain link fence for the one time in my life that worked out (low & behold, I literally could have walked around this thing come to find out.) I then proceeded to get lost/trapped in a field of bushes or something, to the point I passed out from fighting against the snapping twigs & branches trying & failing hilariously at supporting my weight as I was somehow walking ATOP of said bushes (late November, all branches, no leaves) then passed out (probably looking like a hapless victim at the start of an Evil Dead film!) only to come to, finish my trek back to my apartment ... or so I thought. Thing is about this complex, literally EVERY SINGLE TOWNHOUSE LOOKS THE SAME! So my drunken butt attempted to unlock an untold number of doors prior to finding my own. Then I passed out, only to awaken hours later and finally realized that the long sleeve shirt I had on was totally missing, yet the button down shirt was completely fine & untouched (had fallen asleep fully clothed, really tied one on that night.) To this day, not a freaking clue how it came off, where it came off, when it came off, or where it ended up. A mystery that will befuddle me to my dying days. Also my bestie still gives me shit about this to this very day! -
