  1. In regards to those other works of Clavell, being Devil's advocate here, but WHAT IF they adapted them in such a way to incorporate elements into the fallout of this first season? (I haven't read those works so I'm not entirely sure it would or could work, just putting it out there.)
  2. ‘Never Let Go’ Trailer – Evil Takes Over the World in Alexandre Aja’s Apocalypse Horror Movie BLOODY-DISGUSTING.COM Originally announced last year under the title Mother Land, the next film from director Alexandre Aja (High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, Piranha 3D,

  4. For those that don't know, 8MM was a late 90's hard crime detective thriller, starring Nic Cage & Joaquin Phoenix & directed by Joel Shumacher, revolving around a snuff film. The premise for this very eerily mirrors such a grim act I'm inferring.
  5. ‘American Sweatshop’ Starring Lili Reinhart Sounds Like ‘8MM’ for the Social Media Age BLOODY-DISGUSTING.COM Lili Reinhart ("Riverdale") is leading the cast of an upcoming thriller titled American Sweatshop, with Deadline reporting that the film will explore the “Moriarty, and a motley group of coworkers, toil in a cottage industry of agencies that evaluate harmful and offensive pictures and videos uploaded to social media. With detached caution and a deranged sense of humor, they examine the millions of posts that get ‘flagged for review.’ “But one particularly violent video grabs hold of Daisy, luring her out of this office, away from the safety of her keyboard and into a dangerous world as she obsessively seeks to hold someone accountable.”
  6. So very cool, can't wait to see an in depth video going through a couple dozen configurations just to see how it works. Really outside the box thinking like this brings a quality of life to those many overlook or don't think about.
  7. Mortal Kombat 2 Finally Gets Theatrical Release Date WWW.CBR.COM A date has finally been put on the release schedule for the Mortal Kombat movie sequel.
  8. Just rewatched season 3 because it's epic AF! In terms of "running out of steam", well let's unwrap that shall we: Homelander openly killed a man so the fallout of that choice shall have to be addressed Soon to be headpopper in chief is a major threat & moving all manner of pieces on the proverbial chessboard (alongside members of Gen-V) Butcher is dying, his "Scorched Earth" tactic only got mainly his own people hurt in the process, luckily not killed. This season the odds may not be in their favor. Black Noir IS dead ... yet he's back, what gives? Let's not forget Kimiko & Frenchie's evolving relationship, Hughie may or may not be also suffering affects from Temp-V, A-Train is evolving continuously, The Deep has to die in an EPIC freaking way (because there is ZERO redemption for this POS), plus there's the matter of Homelander/Butcher's boy & how that all shakes out. Yeah we got a lot of meat on this bone still!
  9. Roger Corman, Pioneering Independent Producer and King of B Movies, Dies at 98 VARIETY.COM Roger Corman, who directed and produced hundreds of B movies and discovered Jack Nicholson, Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro, has died. He was 98. 🥀
  10. Saw a post the other day from the concession stand at an F-1 race and legit for like a couple sliders, some chicken strips & fries, it was nearly $300. Like no joke, just to see the race you have to have "fuck you money".
  11. Extasy (literally LOVED THIS DRUG), coke (copious 8-balls over the course of a few years), all manner of hallucinogens, meth twice (fucking DISGUSTING drug!). Wasn't ever an opiate user, not a fan of how I feel even taking prescription opioids so never stuck. Thankfully, free & clear of all of those for ... *checks calendar* ... well since May 24th of 2008.
  12. Scoped out this new spot that just opened and OH MY FAHQING GAWD they had lengua (beef tongue) tacos, 2 for $8 w/ onion/cilantro/chile torados. I hadn't had a lengua taco since the pandemic when my former fav spot closed down. For me & my palate, it's the end all be all of tacos. (That being said, the owner & I hit it off swell & was SO generous to provide me w/ a free pound of homemade chorizo which itself was freaking phenom-nom-nomenal!)
  13. My wife LOVES it when I do this!!! Also, nothing beats fresh lemonade at a fair, the lemon syrup, fresh lemons, huge plastic cup w/ the sippy straw, perfection!
  14. This is 100% the RIGHT answer. However, if it HAS to be Doritos specifically, I feel they peaked when these came out ...
  15. Let's hope @69los& @Moaare able to break out their neon spandex & sweatbands for Friday's shenanigans! *Edit* - Wow, searching '80's aerobics' in the gif search brought up SO many amazing things!
  16. Like Drive-Ins don't already have their collective backs against the proverbial wall. This doesn't help matters, then again did it even ever really matter during the pandemic? Just amazing that they remained open AND not only showed films, but also hosted comedy specials live, pretty freaking sweet.
  17. I just came here to say HEY @sblfilms SO HAPPY YOU ARE BACK!!! Genuinely missed your presence. Please know that alongside myself, there are many others that feel mutually. Don't entertain the opinions of sheep when you're a wolf.
