  1. Happened to tune into RAW last night around 10:30p, they were advertising not only NXT Takeover 30 on Saturday but also Summer Slam on Sunday. I'm looking at the matches and genuinely scratching my head at WTF about almost all of it. Just doesn't capture my attention anymore to be frank & sincere, this hurts to say. Pretty much sticking to AEW and that's it, even then I am fiending for live crowds of some capacity at this point across the board however who knows when that is going to happen!?
  2. Considering the size of the NYS theater market, Cuomo is going to face severe pressure from the entire industry.
  3. SHUT...THE...FRONT DOOR! Are you freaking KIDDING ME!? How/when/where/why did you hear this!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  4. I keep checking my Regal & Fandango apps almost daily for if/when movies will be shown and still nothing at all (live in NYS) so this sucks. I miss the hell out of the theater experience and really want to get back to another routine of normalcy for my life regardless of whatever precautions are in place.
  5. What's crazy is that after like 9pm EST, everything after is an encore. That being said, definitely have a few..."panels" (if you can call some of them that as many are only 10-20 minutes long) that I have my eye on. What baffles me, is that even though they have had months to plan & organize this thing, apparently the ONLY way to access is through either PC or a phone. Meanwhile, nothing is being live streamed on say YouTube or another service let alone any sort of access allowed via a gaming console. Granted, I'm sure some people will stream through their own channels the panels that will be happening but still, pretty short sighted on the part of DC/WB/AT&T.
  6. So not only did we get 'Slumber Party Massacre 2' & 'Victor Crowley' as the two films of the night, but arguably THE VERY BEST episode of The Last Drive In yet! Especially with Adam, Kane, & Felissa being there, the whole show felt familial in a way and just was so wholesome & genuine. Meanwhile, Shudder announced that they are increasing the monthly fee up to $5.99/month (or if you are a current subscriber, lock in a rate of $3.99/month for a year with a one time purchase of just over $43 - offer ends August 23rd.) Totally worth the price of admission and I wouldn't blink an eye if it ever did hit $10/month honestly just for how great the content has been, especially in the last 12-18 months!
  7. I'm happy that I will have this exquisite show to keep me company through October every Sunday night!
  8. You know IF Turn 10 were to somehow be able to leverage the tech put behind Flight Sim onto their next FM, then that may very well be the end all, be all of racing sims!
  9. I echo the sentiment of so many others in agreement with the fact that the console launches should just wait until next year. I know financially it isn't feasible but it just reeks of bad taste & poor judgement in light of the ongoing global bastard. There aren't even any real "killer apps" for either console at launch this year.
  10. ...first off I wish Rodney were still alive to make this reality. That said however...why not just have Bryan Cranston continue to evolve and pick up that torch because it would be fan-fucking-tastic!
  11. As a MASSIVE fan of the original series *even the College Years*, this is trash!
  12. Actually yes all of his Last Drive In specials are available on Shudder to watch either in their entirety or movie by movie.
  13. Saw this trending earlier today and yeah, the whole of Warner/DC is yet another victim in the wake of "Things just aren't the way they used to be" sort of business dealings.
  14. This Friday, August 14th, will be an episode filmed way back in February (before the ongoing global bastard took hold) where Adam Green, Kane Hodder, Felissa Rose and a couple other costars of Victor Crowley will be joining Joe Bob & Darcy the Mailgirl for a double feature. First will be a Roger Corman classic (Slumber Party Massacre anybody!?) as well as the 4th Hatchet film 'Victor Crowley'. Should be a great time, get your snacks & PJs ready!
  15. Meanwhile, who watched AEW tonight!? Stellar fucking show beginning to end without a doubt! That 12-man tag match, it was weird because going in I found myself actually rooting for Dark Order & after Dax with his knee (not sure if a shoot or work!?) and then D.O. wins with Brodie looking badass AF! That Matt/Sammy continuation alongside that god awful chair that left a freaking massive wound in Matt's head only to have that insane 630 shoulder tackle spot. Freaking ERIC BISCOFF SHOWS UP & then Orange speaks eloquently only to finish with another awesometacular Darby/Moxley match. HOLY BALLS!
  16. Wasn't that diagram a proof of concept created years ago!? Crazy how, in some ways, it holds so much weight in the current climate. Furthermore, jacks for noise cancelling headphones is fucking genius actually!
  17. I weep for the potential future of movie theaters dying, like I just DO NOT want to have that happen. Seeing malls wither & die is already heartbreaking to me.
  18. So are the rumors about Black Widow true or false? Also curious how big of a hit Disney will take from pirating to Mulan's bottom line (that $30 price point is ridiculous!) If you're going to go straight to streaming, do it as a tiered option where you have an option for a rental or for that $30 price point, you outright OWN the film with an additional $5-10 fee but will include bonus features. (Still pricey AF but at least there are options then!?)
  19. 25 Years of History as a mecca of all things comics & nerdom burned down alongside two other local prominent businesses. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, there were 84 firefighters responding to the vacant building as of 9:10 p.m. where flames had spread from the original unit through the attic. Crews initially responded to the fire in the 7400 block of West Sunset Boulevard, near Gardner Street, at about 8:45 p.m., according to the department. When crews arrived on scene, flames were already exploding through the roof of the structure, forcing the firefighters to take a defensive position outside of the structure. The full extent of the fire was still unknown as fire crews applied large hose streams from the exterior of the structure. The blaze was officially declared a knockdown at about 9:22 p.m. with 84 firefighters on scene. According to LAFD, gas lines were reportedly feeding the blaze until crews were able to shut off utilities to the structure. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire was still under investigation. They had shuddered their doors shortly after COVID struck back in March but this seals the fate of the location permanently, unfortunately.
  20. State of Play...Cerny steps out, adjusts his glasses. "One more thing, we refuse to announce anything PS5 related until Phil Spencer stops holding all of gaming hostage and tells us the price & release date of his companies' console." Holds up a doll of Spider-Man swinging from a noose as he walks off stage.
  21. This is going to be the first console launch that I have no need nor desire to participate in. I am completely fine with a "wait & see" type approach. We won't even see major system sellers for another couple years and anything that is released for the new gen in that time can be snatched up down the road (if it doesn't also release on current hardware as well.) Truth be told, I wouldn't be surprised if I don't snag a Series X until whenever the next Forza Motorsport hits at the earliest while with PS5, I'll just wait with bated breath for the next Naughty Dog title to be announced!
