  1. Yep, it's on CW on Sunday's & airs almost immediately after on HBOMax Definitely enjoyed it, I feel like I could really find myself falling in love w/ New Zealand in general.
  2. I wouldn't be surprised if it launched during one of the remaining NBA Finals games.
  3. Rumors suggest definitely by the end of the month we will have a trailer.
  4. It's weird after all this time spent w/ the MCU that for Black Widow, I have hardly any interest in watching it. I'll inevitably view it once its free on D+ but that's besides the point. Shang-Chi & The Eternals haven't had any sort of impact on me to see them just yet. I'm only half invested in No Way Home & that's dependant on the trailer that gets stitched together soon. Thor 4, Doc Strange 2, and then GotG3 are all that's really on my "must see" of Phase 4 flicks.
  5. @CayceGsummed it up perfectly. THIS is what we, as Star Wars & space sim fans wanted, needed, and were let down by the fact that Squadrons was NOT THIS! Bravo to those that put in so much time, work, and most importantly, all the love dedicated to crafting this mod. Truly spectacular work to be sure, bravo!
  6. I do believe it was a rotation of 4 or 5 writers including Kevin as well as Marc Bernardin (who he co-hosts his weekly show at the Mos Eisley Cantina in Hollywood.) Also worth noting that he states this cartoon will actually be much more mature to the point wherein people CAN and WILL die in the show, so that's intriging!
  7. If you're a fan of "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" then definitely pick up Quentin's novelization of it as it's out-freaking-standing so far!
  8. Immediately where my mind took things for literally all of us responding to this thread. Aren't we a cynical, nihilistic bunch around here!? That said, mainly because I would rather play it ahead of the competition, I'll choose GTA 6 because why not!?
  9. I have high hopes for this. Interesting how it looks like Dickie Moltasante seems to be playing a HUGE part in this film. Going to be interesting to see how that whole relationship really colors & fills in things only ever hinted at in the show, not to mention if Tony was setting Chris up killing that cop or what happened truly!?
  10. Considering Taika is back helming the whole shebang while also having Bale as the baddie & also having a proper role for Portman to inhabit, definitely one of the Phase 4 MCU flicks I have the highest of hopes for.
  11. Shooting has officially begun! Craig is the only Knives Out cast member slated to return for the sequel and the already-developing Knives Out 3. Joining him in Knives Out 2 are Edward Norton (Motherless Brooklyn), Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead), Janelle MonĂ¡e (Antebellum), Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), Leslie Odom Jr. (One Night in Miami), Kate Hudson (Marshall), Madelyn Cline (Outer Banks) and Jessica Yu Li Henwick (Iron Fist). For the time being, however, their roles are being kept firmly under-wraps.
  12. My guess is exactly that Brick, but I will always be down for more Lithgow in anything so that makes me happy.
  13. Also, one other thing, if the government can finally step in, then perhaps they can also curtail the issue at hand where many of the states that already have recreational dispensaries, are almost exclusively monopolistic in nature. A wider free market for all, not just those in a position of economic power reaping the rewards & benefits solely.
  14. OK, love & appreciate all the jokes of course, but considering who the individual is stating such an obvious fact, hopefully this will get the ball rolling further to amend, reform, or just outright change/dissolve the current federal laws governing all things marijuana based. We are have roughly 2/5ths of this country's states enacting recreational use & legalization. Granted, most are "blue" states but I wouldn't be surprised if many "red" states don't have serious debates as to changing their sentiment on the topic at hand either. Furthermore, 37 states have at least medical use allowed. We as a nation need to take a long hard look at the prospect of fully federally backed legalization to then coopt farmers to grow, further dive into scientific research for any & all medical properties inherent with this plant, and also allow those businesses that operate in the recreational states to be allowed the opportunity to utilize banks for payroll, profits, investments, etc.
  15. Well great news @SimpleGthere are multiple reports that a 4K version of Near Dark will be getting released later this year!
  16. I always enjoyed Donald's character in The Great Escape.
  17. As for the inevitable, yet always fantastic to hear news of Shudder renewing TLDI for a 4th season, I wish they would just pull the trigger and be like "We put Joe Bob & Darcy on a 10 year contract ya'll, they ain't leaving us or you any time soon!" Gotta admit that last night, while slightly distracted via a family BBQ get together, I felt like something was missing ... and it was the fact that The Drive-In wasn't on! It really has become ingrained in my week to week programming, a thing to look forward to & celebrate together via the #MutantFam #HorrorFam commiserating about all the awesomeness we are watching together. The communal relief that is viable there is quite cathartic for sure.
  18. So Shudder is having a stellar lineup for July's streaming options! Near Dark, 1982's acclaimed Creepshow, the Tony Shalhoub-starring remake of Thirteen Ghosts and more are coming to Shudder in July 2021
  19. I wouldn't say I'm a neophyte of his work, I just haven't ever done a full deep dive into it either. Numerous works of his have been shown previously on TLDI already & I am sure many more shall continue to be. It's more about him as a person and the influence & staying power he's had over 70 years in the industry.
  20. Firstly, I never knew that there had been a Little Shop of Horrors prior to the Rick Moranis musical, add to it the fact that it was Jack Nicholson's first film as well, just awesome! As for Humanoids From the Deep, how is this movie that freaking good!? Like legit, far & away superior to the likes of Piranha, Alligator, or even Meg. Having Roger on throughout the course of the night was an absolute treat, and I was enthralled by every story he spoke upon. As for the lives & careers he's touched directly, like OH MY GAWD! All roads truly do lead back to Corman, no doubt about that. Possibly the highlight of what had been an all around amazing season!
