  1. I trust Fiege will make sure the X-Men and the idea of mutants will be introduced well and properly.

I have thought about how they can introduce the X-Men and mutants. I think the snap is a bit much but then again my fav superhero is dam near the most effective member of his superhero team without zero super powers, so if written well I will buy it. I like the idea of mutants have always been around but Xavier has been doing some work with others to keep it under warps. But I do like what was said earlier and starting the idea the X-Men starting up now to be the way to go instead of them being around for while.

  2. It's just a screen test. Nothing to hyper focus on. I did like the few mannerism that we were able to get but this is nothing to hyper debate over at this point in production. I trust that Phoenix will do the character justice. I just hope that WB is listening with open ears to the DC side of things on this project a lot more than they have done so in the past.

  3. This is the classic I probably would pick up. This is one of the few Nintendo console I have never owned (other 2 being the Switch and the Virtual Boy). I wanted one but at that time, I could only have one system especially for what they were costing that time and the Playstation won out after I played Road Rash and Battle Arena Toshiden. Even to this day I have only played a few of the N64 games. So I would easily pick this one up which I am sure Nintendo will eventually release.

I was really soured on Spider-Man from the previous movie series, but I've really liked Tom Holland's take on the character so far.

I bet I get into the game, I just need a little more time. It's kind of on the back burner while I play Tomb Raider for now.

I loved the other 2 Tomb Raiders. I will eventually get this one. It's a must.

I'll finish it, but I'm not buying the DLC if I don't care for it. I don't have any major complaints, it's just the game isn't clicking for me. Maybe I'll still be able to get into it. It's probably more the fact I've never been a big Spider-Man fan.

That could be it. Spider man is one of my top 3 superheroes so I ate this game up. The comic book nerd in me appreciated every little detail that was put into this game cause Insomniac did they homework and put the extra credit in.

Just wondering what cast you would like to see come over?

I think a total reboot would be good.  Things are pretty messy with xmen right now.  The Dark Phoenix movie was apparently cancelled at one point... it has been in the can for a year and they are releasing it in February.

I still want to see Dark Phoenix. I know the Fox films have been what they are but I have still enjoyed them.

The recent cast from Apocalypse. As the older cast is just too old now. But I think it will just be a clean slate.

I'd wait for a complete list of the games before making that claim. A lot of these games aren't cheap.

You're right but I'm pretty sure I probably own most of the game that will be eventually be mentioned. I own most of what has already been listed already. I have yet to be drawn to one of these classic systems cause I already own most of the library of them in some capacity. It is a cool buy but not for me.

Shit, i need to go back and beat 4 AND 5 :p MGS3 was amazing though.

Truth be told, MGS3 is the perfect mix between game play and story. MGS5 was too much story and not enough game play and MGS5 was too much game play and not enough of the storytelling we have come to expect from Kojima. Word among fans was that he listened to the complaints about too much story in MGS4  and went to an extreme opposite with MGS5. Don't know how true it is but I can easily agree with that with what we have seen in the games.

I need to run thru MGS4 again.

I initially did not like MGS5. I actually played a few initial missions and put it down for months. Then people kept speaking it up and I had to find out if I was missing something. I'm so glad I went back in because something clicked for me and I enjoyed the world that was created for us players. There was a thread created a few months ago that talked about it with another D1Per and we all felt the same. Initially did not care for the game but then we learned to play it.

It's definitely one of the best experiences I have had on my PS4. If not for a few choices designs on Kojima's part, I'd easily put this in that MGS3 and Spider-Man type pedestal but it is a very good expereince. I put over 100 hours into this game. Game play wise, you can seriously do what you want and there are a number of ways to approach a mission that's seriously only limited by your imagination.

I'd recommend giving it another go.

I was playing Far Cry 5 before this game and thought “man what a slog. Open world fatigue is finally hitting me.”  I almost didn’t bother playing Spider-Man because of it. Really happy I did. Traversal systems make and break an open world game for me. If you don’t make it either fun (Spider-Man) or painless (DQ XI not a true open world game but the sprint makes it very easy to traverse the world), I am not sure I can stomach it any longer. I spent all night activating towers and collecting backpacks and had a ton of fun.  My wife even said “why are you smiling? You aren’t doing anything.”

Interesting you say this. I haven't beaten many open world games considering how many games I finish. If I pop it in my console, games probably get finished between 75% -80% of the time. Open world games on the other hand will lose me quick if they don't have a hook somehow for me. As I think, I that hook is super heroes (Batman & Spider-Man) or something just clicks and I am so engaged like Metal Gear Solid 5.

  12. I just got back from the show seeing it.

I liked it but I don't know if that's because I really liked it or because I came in with such fear that I set my expectations low that I came out happily surprised. I wasn't disappointed but I didn't leave the theater blown away but it was fun movie for me.

Now I do think that I was so hyper prepared for the 3rd act that I expected so much worse that I was okay with most of it. Don't get me wrong, there were a few moments in the 3rd act where I was scratching my head or telling myself to suspend my disbelief but I had fun. I was really scared going in about the humor but it worked for me and luckily I was in the theater by myself so I took advantage of that to laugh my ass off at some scenes.

Sterling K Brown had me cracking up. There was one scene where I lost it, LMAO!!!!

    Spoiler

When he looked at the killed predator and said, "That n***a got fucked up". LOL!!!!!!! He just sounded like some of my buddies growing up.

    I could have done without

    Spoiler

    - the predator hound becoming Olivia's pet

    - The guy hanging from the ship by one leg hitting trees

    - The Predator killer suit at the end. That was too much movie cheese for a Predator movie.

Now looking at the above pictures posted and knowing how the movie played out especially with what we know about the script changes, I could see how that could have been part of the film but I too am glad that dd not make it in.

I will say this. I will go see Predator movie if one is in the theater. This movie was fun and I can still see value in the series. It did not leave me wanting the series to be buried like The Terminator series.
