God I want to hear what from the infrastructure side is deteriorating. I work in product so I know all of these new feature requests and turning that around and going live to hundreds of millions of users is just... not really feasible in a month, let alone 2 months really. Elon is a fucking idiot for treating these feature releases as a life or death situation. It's not a rocket or a Tesla FSD where people can die.

And conversely I spent 8 years in college doing random ass degrees and have had a pretty dope and successful product manager career without ever ever having to use my degrees. Granted a lot of the liberal arts skills do transfer over well (researching, analysis, rhetoric, presentation). Academia has historically not been a system for employment and somehow we forced it into one.

Base, my ass is literally only driving to take kids to school, soccer practice and driving myself to the gym. That’s all my car is used for so the less bells and whistles the better. However, the new RAV4 Prime might be a better option for me since it has like a 40 mile electric range and then a traditional hybrid gas engine. This means I wouldn’t ever use gas for 95% of my driving but have access to a hybrid engine should I need to do long distance driving. The only drawback is that the RAV4 is too much of a car for me, I currently drive one. Need to minimize as much as possible.

Another one to keep an eye on is Jack Dorsey’s Bluesky which is in beta and is a decentralized version of Twitter where your content is allegedly yours to own and the algorithm is open source. But it has SV money behind it so it can eventually be turned into an adtech money sucking vampire in time.
