  1. I watched a video review and it looks cool but I don't think I'd enjoy it's over the head viewpoint. I'm not a fan of the art style I saw, either. After doing some research, I think I'm going to play Doom Eternal when I get home. From what I read, it's one of the best fps ever made. I think I'll dig this.
  2. My bad. I just looked it up on YouTube and it isn't for me. Thanks for looking out.
  3. I'll look into Hades. I played/beat Mario Odyssey and loved it. I tried Rime and it was just ok to me. Didn't grab my attention. I'll have to look up Edith Finch as well. Thank you! Played it when it initially released and had fun with it. Good recommendation, though. @stepee Told me to play Ori and the Will of the Wisps which I did and enjoyed it. I never finished it but at the moment I'm not feeling a Metroidvania type platformer. So far I have Doom, Hades, Edith Finch, and 3D World + Bowsers Fury to look into. I really appreciate the responses guys. Edit: Hades is out because I don't own a pc.
  4. It was the end of my break at work so I couldn't go into detail. Also, while I played FF7 I was drinking at that time. So maybe the issues that were mentioned in the thread didn't bother me so much because I was under the influence. I just recall enjoying the combat and story. I may revisit the game now that I'm sober.
  5. I forgot about this one. Very good recommendation. Thank you. I love action adventure games and unfortunately beat Days Gone. I really enjoyed it. Thank you, though. I gave Monster Hunter a few tries and I just didn't enjoy it. Thanks. I'll have to look that up. Never even heard of it.
  6. I recently put in 13 hours or so into Imortals Fenyx Rising and it didn't click with me. So I was a bit disappointed and moved on to Prey. It's on gamepass so I said to myself, what the hell, give it a shot. Well 5 hours into it and I'm lost, confused, and overwhelmed by it and that's not fun imo lol. So I'm giving up on that. I've played a lot of games this gen but I know there has to be a few gems I haven't played. I need suggestions because I'm at a loss right now. I was tempted to replay Ghost of Tsushima or even TLOU2 but I think I want to wait for the next gen updates to tackle them again. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks guys in advance.
  7. I didn't have any issues with it and enjoyed the game a lot.
  8. Um...I think it's time for me to go to bed. I didn't understand anything about the thread title or post. Night guys!
  9. That potentially could be very cool. The game was phenomenal with a great cast of characters and a beautiful setting. I'm down.
  10. I'm not 100% positive who this is (I did watch a few episodes of Arrested Development) but from the reactions in this thread she must have been an amazing talent and person. RIP
  11. I'll tell you what. Navigating through Talos1 can be very confusing and difficult. My main issue now is where to go next. It's a pretty complicated game with a lot to do and a lot thrown at you at once. Kinda making me feel discouraged to keep playing.
  12. Maybe not that one in particular. I love animals and that's a cute vid. This is a difficult subject in so many ways.
  13. Yea, I understand your view points on this and that was a very good post. I shouldn't have said "leave the rest of us out of it with your views". I didn't know you were on both sides of the spectrum with being a vegetarian and meat eater. I don't eat much meat at all so I'm helping the environment some what. Overall, I respect the vegetarian lifestyle and understand the benefits from it as well. I just think humans were meant to eat meat and some animals were put on this earth for us to consume. For instance a cow. They provide us with dairy and meat. I truly believe that is their purpose for being here. Anyway, eat whatever the hell you want and there shouldn't be any negative judgment on either side. I appreciate Johnny's concern for the environment.
  14. @Biggie Will you be interested in another WW theme for COD? I prefer modern or futurisric COD games but I'm so burnt out on the series as a whole. But, they keep pumping these games out yearly and millions love it each year.
  15. Some animals are on this earth for humans to eat. It's the way of life and how God intended it to be. If you're vegan, fine, but leave the rest of us out of it with your views.
  16. Good luck! I hope everything works out for you.
  17. @ShreddieMercuryRising I played 2 more hours and more weapons have become available. Enemies haven't changed yet and the game can actually be quite difficult. Granted, I haven't unlocked many abilities so it's still early. I'm enjoying my time with it so far. Bioshock vibes here and there. Thanks for the tips once again.
  18. Yea I don't recall the johnny fatz father son relationship. With what we know now and him buying you bioshock....he was grooming your sweet ass! Kinda hot.
  19. Awesome! Thank you for the detailed post. I'm going to be firing it up shortly.
  20. For those who played Prey. I'm only 2 hours in and I've been using the wrench as my primary weapon. I got a pistol and the GLOO Cannon and that's it so far. The pistol is worthless against the 2 enemy types I've ran into thus far. Do you get better weapons as you progress and are they effective? Also, I've only ran into the mimics and phantoms with regards to enemy types. Is there more variety later on? @ManUtdRedDevils I know you played it.
  21. @skillzdadirecta I put in 13 hours or so into imortals and it just isn't compelling enough to keep playing. It starts out fine and dandy but gets extremely repetitive and boring. Same enemies all over the world, confusing puzzles that required me to cheat a few times, and it offers very little customization and upgrades to your character. It's like a watered down RPG in that respect. The upgrades are not even needed to progress through the game. The enemies are easy to kill from the beginning right up to my 13th hour with very little upgrading. Not to sound like a dick, but the game seemed to be made for a younger audience that are new to an open world RPG. I suggest you wait to see if it hits gamepass and try it then. There is also a demo out as well.
  22. Yea, I remember you dropping it, too. It's definitely not a bad game by any means but feels like I've been there done that 100 times before type game. I'm tired so I'm not even sure I'm making any sense now. Anyway, I should have listened to you.
