Just play it now. It's an incredible videogame and there is nothing indicating that there will be a "next gen" update for it. Christ, they're worried about remaking part 1 at the moment.

Spielberg usually creates magic so I'm pretty sure it will be good. The trailer was great imo. Short but sweet with a beautiful soundtrack.

I wouldn't recommend seeing more gameplay of Ratchet. I mean there's plenty of footage out already and the new trailer looks stunning. You don't want to spoil the entire game, do you?

@Xbob42 is making perfect sense. Up until now with Returnal and Ratchet the PS5 hasn't delivered anything since launch. It's starting to take off now and by Fall with Horizon it will be worth it for me to pick up. I have made 0 efforts in getting either consoles because I don't see any reason to buy one. I own a Switch, PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X. I still have so many games to play from "last gen".

After reading all the previews I would be extremely pumped for this game if I owned a ps5. Difficulty may be harsh but it's seems like it's so fun and rewarding. I hope all that get it have fun regardless if they struggle with it. You can even do what vic said:

If I could have the same job I'd be willing to move to a better state than PA. I'm locked in for the rest of my career here where I work now. Maybe when I retire I'll move away and try something where there isn't brutal winters.

Pennsylvania is beautiful especially since I'm close to stunning farming lands and the like. We get all four seasons and never have to worry about hurricanes and earthquakes. It's just a solid place to live so I'll be here until I die.

I ate an ENORMOUS amount of food yesterday at my parents house. It's was uncalled for really. So today I expected a really big shit. Nothing! Not even a feeling of having to poop etc. I'm hoping to God tomorrow I shit my brains out. I drank tons of water today and only drank my usual protein shake and had a small bowl of oatmeal to settle my system down.
