Well I finally can play and enjoy this now. The custom difficulty setting allowed me to set things the way I want. The proof of this working was in the very beginning of the game on the ship I beat the Commander Zhalk. I could never do that in the past.

What's remarkable about Derrick White is he played 3 years of division 2...yes, division 2 basketball and made it all the way to this deserving signing.

I just messed with it and put everything in the options to the easiest difficulty. There are other options that help you too like no critical hits by an enemy. I will test it out tonight and see if it is indeed easier.

Damn. This may be my way in actually playing and enjoying this game.

I can't help you but feel your pain. I felt the same way about the combat even on the easiest difficulty. I quit halfway through. It's a cool AA game but didn't wow me enough to finish it.

@legend @Bacon @Spork3245 I was just reading up on BG3's difficulty and came across this. "However, players can adjust the difficulty to their liking using the game's custom difficulty mode. This mode allows players to create an experience that's as easy or as realistic as they want". How in the hell did I miss this and have any of you used this option?

I'm going to attempt to play DOS2 and this simultaneously. DOS2 is too difficult to play on my deck because the chat boxes are way too smal to read. I checked all the options and you cannot make any adjustments. BG3 however is much better in that regard on deck. So I'll play DOS2 on my PS5 and BG3 on my deck. Larian owns me.

Ok I got the hulu bundle to watch this. I'm thinking I'll watch with my quest 3 for a better experience.

@legend I'm about 15 hours into DOS2 and made much more progress in this compared to BG3. It just seems much easier on the easiest difficulty when compared to BG3. The bedroll is saving my ass and so convenient. I'm having a blast with this.
