  1. I'll give it until the end of tonight. Got too much to do today, but will have time to compile more things tomorrow. (especially since finishing TOTK)
  2. ToTK is done! I’ll want to go back and clean up some of the Shrines I missed, and maybe some light roots in the process. But overall, very, very good game. I pulled out my turret rover schematic from early in the game to take on the gauntlet. Hardly had to swing my sword. I definitely feel like I cheesed it, but hey.
  3. Yes, absolutely. It’s a 2D platformer with a Banjo-Kazooie and 2D Zelda inspired overworld. Every stage has a B-side variant that changes it dramatically, in ways that don’t repeat themselves the entire game. It controls well, I liked it better than DK Returns (haven’t played TF much yet).
  4. Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara to represent Capcom beat 'em ups. Out of this World / Another World Half-Minute Hero Yooka-Laylee & the Impossible Lair Yoku's Island Express Metroid Dread
  5. The list so far. Trying to be as copacetic as I can be, to give each game their best shot: 297 entries currently.
  6. I'm going to go ahead and add Dragon Quest XI on there, just to see what happens. Solid game. Civilization II as well.
  7. @stepee Original God of War, correct? Super Mario Lost Levels or SMB2? Or both?
  8. We'll go with those then. I don't remember if 4 and 12 were nominated, but the rest were. Going to start pulling together the larger list now.
  9. I'd want a top most offensively disappointing. That'd lead to one heck of a spicy and salty thread.
  10. Next Fest October 2023 - NOW LIVE! STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM Steam Next Fest is a week-long celebration featuring hundreds of FREE playable demos as well as developer livestreams and chats. Players try out upcoming games on Steam pre-release, developers gather feedback and build an audience ahead of their Steam launch, everyone wins! PixelJunk™ Eden 2 on Steam STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM Return to the gardens of light and sound in this hypnotic platforming adventure from the award-winning PixelJunk series.
  11. I don't think every entry was brought up, but several were. Tactics was. Do you think all of them deserve to be on a top 100 list?
  12. Going to take on Ganon in TOTK next. I love the 11th hour new mechanic addition, I'm really glad I didn't have that spoiled for me.
  13. Not yet. Have you played Boomerang Fu? That's my highest recommendation for an indie party game. (it's $6 right now on PC with 3 other party games)
  14. I'll be voting based on what I find most fun. Hopefully we get a good mix of people voting one which way or another. That might make for a better overall list. I plan on us using the ranking website I posted earlier for voting. That should make for some hard choices in either respect. Plus it exports to CSV, which should make compiling it all easier.
  15. @stepee Because it seems like something you'd nominate: DK Tropical Freeze? I sadly haven't played enough of it yet. @Commissar SFLUFAN Same deal: Dishonored games? Prey? Ori & the Will of the Wisps? Control? Psychonauts 2? I won't nominate that last one, as I'm kind of wavering on it making it to my top 100. But I could also see it sneaking its way on in the ranking process.
  16. Trials of Mana (Secret of Mana 2) Xenoblade Chronicles G-Darius Mario Tennis GBC Pikmin 2 Zelda: Link's Awakening Returnal
  17. Hopefully this means that Choice monthly selections get better going forward. That also might explain the bundle I posted about earlier, that was exclusively their published stuff: Awesome Indies from Humble Games WWW.HUMBLEBUNDLE.COM Get an eclectic mix of Humble Games titles, including Moonscars, UNSIGHTED, Dodgeball Academia, and more. Pay what you want & support Direct Relief!
  18. Picked up the Humble Games bundle this month of their own published titles, for $14. Their desktop app and subscription library is going away (I never used it), but I figured that's why they did a big bundle of their own stuff. I also got Tales of Arise for $5 new at Gamestop's recent sale. There's some other enticing stuff too, but stock is a big issue (unless you order a crazy amount for free shipping). Not a bad deal if you can manage it!
  19. Yeah, I’ll put the voting list together in a way that won’t split votes. I only feel a bit weird about lumping Mass Effect games together (wasn’t 2 supposed to be very different than 1?), but they did get a rereleased trilogy package.
  20. Oh wow, I almost forgot Wild Guns (remastered). That’s a submission. What a great game. Metal Slug 3. That series needs some representation.
  21. I feel like there’s better top down shooters than that. Shock Troopers is one people should really play. Commandos arcade is another I prefer in the classics sense. There’s Ikari Warriors as mentioned above. I haven’t played it yet, but the Pocky & Rocky remake looks fantastic. Some people also really like Zombies ate my Neighbors, but I could never get into it. There’s also Hotline Miami, which may deserve a nod ahead of the genre staples. Not nominating any of these myself, but they’re fun.
  22. I’ll probably call this on Monday night. Also, Quiplash, in any of its variants. Guacamelee
