FYI, if you haven't reforged a certain weapon, the big post-game boss will be too tough at most any level. It kind of does a poor job explaining how to use it too. One of the few big gripes I have with the game. At lvl 50 would still be quite difficult regardless. But there's enough post game content to make grinding (in the old school sense) needless.

Set up my new TV (TCL 6 55"), tried a little Titanfall 2 from my PC (1060/i5-6600). It's likely resolving somewhere between 1440p and 4k (at 60fps), a huge upgrade from what I was putting up with. ... Also traded in my PS4. Pro is arriving tomorrow, and I have a large backlog ready to play on it: Uncharted 1-3 Uncharted 4 Bloodborne Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 HD Remix Horizon Ratchet & Clank God of War Last of Us Remastered Persona 5 The Last Guardian Final Fantasy XV (might play on PC someday instead) Any thoughts on what to start with?

Bought a PS4 Pro for $320. Excited to play some Sony exclusives. I've hardly touched the console this generation.

The idea behind doing the flickchart-esque voting is that you'd be forced to make some tough choices. You could have surface-level favoritism towards some games, and it'd be easy enough to build a list weighted towards that. But pitting games against others individually like this makes you think about it on a case by case basis. The negative votes also factored in to some less voted-on games making the list. That's a good thing, IMO. It helped Republic Commando make it. From the sound of it, that game might be the best Xbox game almost no one here played. (It's on Steam too, btw)

Which boss? Most of the hard ones have a save checkpoint nearby.

Haven't played Spiderman yet. But DQXI will likely get you more bang for your buck. Superbly paced game. If you don't have much time on your hands, you might want to go with Spider-Man.

That, or doing those that have them better. (*cough* PS1)

Yup. It's going to feel like night and day. I've been holding off on playing a bunch of current gen games because of it.

My idea was to build a console based on games we've played and could recommend regardless of remakes/remasteres/etc. If it matters at all, if I counted those votes, it doesn't look like they'd change which games make it the list. Just a few positions.

DQXI deserves it more than Celeste, but no one is fighting over that. I'm personally waiting for RDR2 on PC.

Yeah, from the sound of it, most people here would be a lot more comfortable with it at #2 or #3. Still damn good.

Bought Persona 5. I had some paypal credit I forgot about, ended up only being $9. I probably won't get around to it for a while though. I'm taking a brief break from JRPGs after finishing DQXI. I still have Octopath and Torna to get through too.

Steam sale is live too. I told myself I wasn't buying anything, but Persona 4 5 for $20 is tempting... Never played a Persona game before.
