  1. I didn’t like it, tbh. Overcooked is a much better couch game with friends. Boomerang Fu is the secret best party game indie.
  2. The PC port of still has so much stuttering, even on an SSD. Not impressed with the performance, though it could be partly the fault of my aging CPU. Decided I need to 30fps this one, because 1080p60 is too inconsistent. I am able to get ~1700p30 with a GTX 1060 and some ini tweaks. That's still better than One X/PS4 Pro, which I'll take with my current hardware.
  3. I’m still running Windows 10, so auto hdr isn’t an option for me anyway unless I look into special K or install the development build. Might need to give it a shot.
  4. Thanks all, I’ll go with Psyconauts 2, which is where I was leaning. [Steam please!] @Commissar SFLUFAN Tales of Arise I’ll pick up eventually, I have other JRPGs to play. GotG will wait till I have a better rig.
  5. I think I know where I’m leaning, but I’m trying to decide between Tales of Arise, Psyconauts 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Any arguments to sway me? Note: I’d be playing with a older gpu (1060 6GB) on my tv. Giveaways, bundles and my backlog are already my games pass.
  6. I approve of this thread. Additional facts for heathens: The Christmas Octave is also a thing, ending on January 1st, dedicated now as the Solemnity of Mary Mother of God. Before 1969, it was celebrated as the Feast of the Circumcision of Christ, which the Orthodox still follow. Also Catholics who are Byzantine Rite. Merry Christmas and a Happy Foreskin Day!
  7. And weapon reload animations in the 30’s. What DF said about the cutscene stutter and distant shadow oddities probably disqualified it too. It looks better than it had any right to after last year. Probably deserved a spot in the convo.
  8. I believe you. I would say some of the cutscenes in Dread are very slick considering the hardware. And it is 60fps.
  9. It’s the publisher’s choice, to be fair. But always-on DRM is terrible. On the positive, many of the free games they’ve given out are entirely DRM free.
  10. It already was on Amazon. Don’t think you get the DLC update with it though.
  11. Yup, no idea why I did that. I updated the correct thread title. Oh well.
  12. GOG.com WWW.GOG.COM Download the best classic and new games on Windows, Mac & Linux. A vast selection of titles, DRM-free, with free goodies and 30-day money-back guarantee. I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream
