  1. There is a fair argument that Microsoft left a few too many dangling threads from years prior. Outer Wilds 2. Hellblade 2. Avowed. Fable. Perfect Dark. Everwild. Indiana Jones. Elder Scrolls 6. For couple of those games, we should have seen more by now, if not also a release date. But that's also why I appreciate this year as a reset. They're being honest about showing what they have that's ready for prime time.
  2. Breath of the Wild is already everything I could have hoped from that. They made the world engaging, the power ups more interesting, the combat not overly simplistic, etc.
  3. It’s a role reversal this year. Horizon VR, Last of Us Remake, Spider-Man PC was all they brought.
  4. People just need to realize that Microsoft needed this E3 to break the cycle of smokescreen announcements. The only non-starters this time were the Team Ninja game and Ark 2. Good riddance to the past.
  5. Yeah, leak at the top of the thread was fake. The Persona one and Henderson’s were real.
  6. The thing about showing gameplay is that it almost makes you forget about the stuff that’s in the pipeline. You’ll be playing it soon, you can see it coming together, it feels real. As much as I would have liked to see some of their other stuff, I didn’t really think about what was absent until their conference was over. That’s a good thing. (… No Hellblade soon makes me sad though) This gets an B+ for me. Only major things holding it back for me were a lack of bigger surprises, and a kind of next-gen wow moment they still need to deliver on. Even though Starfield looks great, I don’t think it quite got there.
  7. I would have liked more stuff without spliced cuts, but on the whole, this is how it should be done.
  8. Good show MS. Not to the level of what I would expect next year with more projects coming to fruition, but overall they hit the points they needed to. Some interesting looking 3rd party stuff in there. Redfall looked okay, Starfield looks way more interesting to me than any game the Fallout team did before. Team Ninja game next year and Persona ports are also a good thing. Not that it makes up for missing out on FFXVI, or even FF7R still.
  9. Called it in the other thread that everything they’d show would be out this year. I’m so happy for it too. We’ll get lots of gameplay.
  10. I played the demo a while back. I think these sort of games just aren’t for me. But it’s alright.
  11. Isn’t there an Indiana Jones game in development at Bethesda? Banjo rumors are swirling around.
  12. I’m not upset about the leaks, quite the contrary. Who made this thread? It’s part of the E3 drama. He should just “report” it all, including the surprises he alludes to. Like you say, he owes the devs nothing, right? Microsoft is owed no more courtesy. He’s already said enough to piss them off too. Lean in.
  13. Kojima’s horror game is rumored to be there. If it is, he already ruined that surprise part of the conference while saying he’s got too much integrity to leak others. But here’s some nuggets anyways, lol. It’s blissfully self-unaware. Regardless, he sassed back to Kojima about spilling the beans. You don’t get to get on your high horse about leaks again after that.
