  1. Piggybacking off @Phaseknox's thread, given that this this is a lighter year for releases. Got a big list myself, but I'll keep it to the ones I'm confident I can get around to: Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Ori and the Will of the Wisps ✓ Call of the Sea Mario & Rabbids 1 Horizon Zero Dawn (if I can secure a PS5 this year)
  2. https://www.eurogamer.net/after-10-hours-i-think-im-nearing-the-end-of-xenoblade-chronicles-3s-tutorial
  3. Hat in Time Nyakuza Metro DLC - The best level they've built from what I've played. Booting it up after Psyconauts 2 reminded me how poor the camera controls are though. The Last Campfire - Puzzle game with some brief overworld roaming between challenge levels. So far it's nothing special, but it's chill.
  4. Ubisoft open world games always look so boring to me. I'm sure someone out there would dig this on first glance, but it's not my cup of tea.
  5. Augmented Steam (Chrome extension) has an instant sell button, for 1 cent less than the lowest listing. You'll still have to use the mobile app to confirm some of them most likely. But it's not that much work. It all adds up. I idle games when I use my computer for other things, and come away with at least $10 in credit to spend each major sale. Though I seldom list at an 'instant sell' price. You can also attempt to game the market in other ways, but it takes more work.
  6. Badges are for suckers. I sell the cards every time.
  7. Wonder Boy and the Dragon's Trap is being given away on Epic next week.
  8. The game isn't running on Switch hardware. It's being run on a PC somewhere else. The online video it generates is then streamed to your Switch over the internet. You'll get video compression artifacts and additional input delay. When the servers one day get shut down, you'll no longer have access to your game.
  9. They're targeting next gen only. Switch version is cloud based, as Keyser said. There is no XBO version either.
  10. Naw, I wasn’t counting re-releases. Otherwise FF6 pixel remaster would be there as well.
  11. Xenoblade 3 and God of War 2 are the big ones. Though I doubt I’ll have a PS5 in time for the latter. (I sold my PS4 Pro too) Mario + Rabbids 2 and Crisis Core are fairly high up. Plague’s Tale 2 probably would be too if I played the first. I’m curious about Hogwarts, Sonic and and Batman. For indies, Stray, Tinykin, High on Life look like fun. Still wondering if Little Devil Inside makes it this year. Palworld, Rollerdrome and Ooblets could be fun as novelties.
  12. I've never seen Square-Enix throw this much random stuff out there in one calendar year. They couldn't have planned for this, right? Plus some hot garbage:
  13. Clearly this game can't hang with Star Ocean: The Divine Force, Valkyrie Elysium, and the Crisis Core and Live a Live remakes. So they were forced to delay it.
  14. I would hope that the next Switch, whenever it comes out, is a big step up over the current hardware. Modern Nintendo consoles have followed a pattern of a strong fidelity bump followed by a weaker one. It's due. They'll have to refresh it soon anyhow. It's not ideal to launch during the chip shortage, but many small devs are still too limited by the current hardware. It's only going to get more difficult for the industry to keep supporting it as a whole.
  15. New batch of imports. Spent $6 not counting the Prime Membership. + Hat in Time expansion and Sonic Mania Plus DLC. More quantity than quality. I might give Unravel, Fell Seal and AoE2 remaster a shot.
  16. Phantom Dust is free now. Xbox Play Anywhere, so you can play it on PC or console. https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/games/store/phantom-dust/9pcdnbhr11mr
  17. Glad to hear it. I might actually give this a shot next. Need a game to play before this month ends. Next month's Choice is up. Mostly a bust for me, but I'm on this train ride anyways.
