Haven’t played much new this year, so just based on footage, Horizon FW seems like the front runner for visual spectacle, especially after its patches. TMNT for 2D. Portal RTX for tech.

A bit unfortunate that we’ve seen so many 16-bit inspired RPGs that don’t live up to their inspiration. Radiant Historia on DS might be the closest. Got high hopes for this and Sea of Stars. I’ll snag it on sale next year.

Thanks for the advice. Got both a Eufy SpaceView sans wifi and a Wyze cam. Two cam set up is probably overkill, but I think I'll like the option.

I'd like to see some older indies that haven't gotten super steep discounts or bundles, or don't anymore. Games like Obra Dinn, Freedom Planet, The Pathless, Bug Fables, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Owlboy, The Mummy Demastered, etc. As for AAA , Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers combo maybe? That might be just silly enough to happen with the chip on Square's shoulder. Epic's given away multiple Batman games before, so hey, it could happen. Even more pie in the sky would be a Crash Team Racing PC port, which has yet to materialize.

TBH, I don't think Bluepoint could give you that. Cutscene direction isn't their forte.

We’ve had threads about upcoming games. What do you already own (or have on subscription) that you hope to finally get around to? Expecting a kid early next year, so I’ll definitely have less time than normal. I’m thinking some Switch catch-up is in order. Leaning towards Mario & Rabbids, Luigi’s Mansion 3 (after I finish 2), perhaps Age of Calamity and Octopath Traveller.

I bounce around between Giant Bomb, Easy Allies and Nextlander. And of course, DF Direct. Easy Allies is definitely missing something. I really enjoyed hearing Bosman back as a guest on their latest episode, it injected some life that they were missing. But they're still alright IMO.
